It could be. My setup is fuel E85, shorty Z1 headers, custom 2.5" twin exhaust with 2xHFC, custom X-pipe, 4x resonators and a big quiet muffler. I wanted it as quiet as possible

Back in that day it was stock 370z from y-pipe to end. Motordyne res y pipe and fast intentions long tube headers. LTH was a pain to tune and idle, the motordyne Y pipe was constantly getting loose and rattling the frame and stock 370z pieces were restrictive so I changed everything

In that video it was Long tube Headers from fast intentions (now I removed them and back to shortys because it was impossible to tune it right), motordyne resonated y-pipe (also removed because it was hitting everywhere and continually getting loose and leaking) then 12"x3" adapter to use stock 370z resonators and stock 370z muffler. Now I have z1 shorty headers, custom 3" dual exhaust with HFC, borla resonators and one big oem style borla muffler. More flow but very quiet. I'm planing to add two more resonators from vibrant once I can measure the space I got

@@ZeroFX32 im currently running soho airtoair SC Kit w/ isr test pipes/ isr y pipe/ tomei catback. it is ridiculously loud for the streets. im planning on swapping the catback for an ARK Grip. any suggestions?

@@ReaksOP it is still going to be loud I think. If I were you, I would try to add a pair of vibrant ultra quiet resonators if you can fit them, and either a borla quiet muffler or two vibrant mufflers. In the end it will be the quietest and cheapest option without sacrifice in performance. You may lose 5 or 10 HP but you know you can push it with a nearby cop and he wouldn't notice you.

@@ReaksOP I think it's better than any cat or HFC, I never had them but would like to have it, I see nothing wrong with them but will help lower the volume and reduce hiss and rasp

Yes! It drives so much better, I changed the rear sway bar as well with improved stillen design which also helped a lot. It was rough, it's a rough car even stock. I had a 2.5 CVT that wasn't rough at all but the 3.5 MT was always rough

@@ZeroFX32 Oh I see. That’s really helpful and good to know. I have an 07 Altima 2.5s and was deciding on lowering my car and was considering this. It even looks good on those stock wheels. I have aftermarket wheels and was looking on lowering for a much better appearance. Will possibly be doing the same setup for lowering mine like yours. Thanks!

@Abdulhadi Khalil-Davis yes, KYB brand that are a bit stiffer but mostly the same as stock (no coilovers). With stock wheels I had 15mm spacers, they look flush and much better

Yes, that was Jon tuning it. However I changed tuner later because the car had some issues, it works way much more better now. This topgunz kit is awesome, however if I had to do it all over again I wouls get the Topgunz rotrex kit, I didn't get it because it was in it's very early stage and not available for sale... But it is now and it's better. Lookup for " the370Z topgunz rotrex kit "

I do have the 08 with 5 automatic. I'd figure you had to change the fuel pumpand get bigger injectors. But yeah saving up for that and didnt know you need the 09+ ecu 😮‍💨 . I love my daily fbo with 3inch cai but need something a little quicker lol. Thank you.

@@Hondacbr600rrish you also need a CJM fuel system (aka fuel return system) preferably done with a new fuel pump install (I've got walbro 450, don't go smaller), a big oil cooler to handle the extra heat, flex plate for your AT, and ecutek tune with new ECU (don't ever use uprev, it's inferior and not as safe for the engine)

Well, it's running with ethanol which takes about 30% more fuel than gasoline, wide tires, and I beat on it everyday. No more MPG, Smiles per gallon like they say

@@billnye5183 well, in highway I'm getting 20MPG so yeah, not so great anyways, maybe could be 26MPG with gasoline and trying to stay out of boost. Put a turbo! Lookup for "topgunspeedworks Q50" and you'll find a really easy to install kit. If you can save on labor by working yourself it's not that expensive

Power wise yeah, it won't give you as much confidence in corners as a 350z tough

QR is either 2.0L or 2.5L, only the Altima 2.5L has QR

@@sergioverduzco8295 I have no idea to be honest, maybe 500who give or take. there was a leak that limited the boost up to 9 PSi, it was hard to figure out where was it even with a boost leak detector but eventually I figured it out.

Do you have any belt slip??

@@Yohasbing I spent about 9 thousands in exhaust only (I have a list with everything I put on the car, mileage, cost and date). I had it loud, extremely loud, single y-pipe back long tube headers, and now it's shorty headers, short HFCs and true dual exhaust 3" each. very quiet for what it is. And now I like it quiet to be honest, loud is awesome the first time but it gets old after some months

@@ZeroFX32 I’m not sure if I’ll ever get to adding a supercharger to the car. But right now I’m enjoying it as it is with AFE Magnum Flow dry drop ins, resonated test pipes, and a grounding kit. Definitely woke the car up, even without a tune yet. Need to get some maintenance out of the way then I’ll either consider a custom exhaust, tune, or some other mods.

@@ZeroFX32 Nice. I've always wanted to get a VQ. Maybe someday. I've heard those are some really fantastic engines for power and reliability. Maybe when this engine's worn out, it'd be cool to see if I could do a VQ swap. I think my Sentra has the space for it anyway

@@danbucklet VQ are strong engines no doubt, I also always wanted one so I got the VQ35DE on this Altima but then realized that they don't have too much boost potential in stock form like the VQ37VHR does. My G37 arrived with 270whp stock and with stock engine it reaches 650whp, I abuse it everyday and it's about to be two years since boosted. Again, stock engine! Eventually it will fail but they are not too expensive to replace

Thats cool! is it adjustable as well? Does it work the same with engine cool and at working temperature? My actual G37 limits at 5000 RPM when coolant is below 70°C, and goes to redline over 70°C. When in first gear it's tuned on Ecutek to have adjustable launch control like I had in this Altima

@@ZeroFX32 AFIK, I don't think I can adjust the limit. It seems to just be set from the factory. I Haven't ever tried it cold but I'd imagine it limits the same since 3,500 isn't crazy for the engine at cold temps, but I wouldn't try launching it cold. I'm not sure if redline gets limited when cold either. I usually wait for it to warm up before going past 4,000 but that's cool to hear that the G37 does actually have a limiter when cold so you don't over-stress your engine until it's ready to go

Yes, stock. Holding up fine, and if anything goes wrong I'll put a new stock engine. I'm not going through the built engine route

Yeah I'd like to have it noisier sometimes, but most of the time it was either just loud or extremely loud so now I really enjoy it like this. Bypass valves don't do a good work in my experience so you can't have both noisy and quiet.

Good thing is they are cheap, easy to get, and easy to install

@@brianrosas9363 so, from Manual to AT? I think I'll pass... My clutch was slipping, I dropped the transmission last weekend and put new stuff. I'm breaking it in still and shouldn't abuse yet, but it feels so much better already

The manual transmission in G37s can handle 1000whp

@@emanuelk.9333 Im sure the engines cannot., their gallery gaskets have weak plastic that becomes brittle and on top of that,. its not a gtr engine.

@@alf2633 I have 285 all around now, Ecutek has a traction control function that helps a lot, otherwise it will spin even in forth gear (at near redline)
