Used to love visiting this place. The last time I went to Portland, last year, I visited this garden again and it smelled so strongly of marijuana and vaping everywhere that I felt very un zen. Not sure how an outdoor locale could even hold so much scent unless people were just smoking constantly and everywhere!

Thank you for your wonderful inspirational story. I live in South Australia and one of my dreams is to one day visit the Portland Japanese Garden. Until then I will enjoy creating our own garden paradise on our 5 hectare property.

Could this presentation be remade without the mask and maybe with some camera shots over presenter's shoulder to get a better view of the actual stitching?

If KGW has given a digital copy of this video to the Portland Japanese Garden, it would be worth it for their own archives if they can enhance it a bit: lighten it up, improve contrasts etc. Based on working with still photos I suspect there are interesting images hidden in some of those shadows.
