Sharon, you are very brave to post these, but it gives us a chance to see George teaching. Thank you!

Lovely, sympathetic and skillful riding! The modern dressage world could learn much from his work.

The trot is to short and the horse is tense with result ing of bad contact

Bart Nano more likely the result of poor schooling and poor old George is getting to deal with that lack of education, it’s not easy to just jump on a strange horse and ride along calmly as he does and deal with a host of issues that the horse has because of its rider, yet as old as he is he does it and does it well really, I’d feel Lucky to be even able to just hack at his age.

I think people don't listen enough to their horses. This man is an Icon! He has taught us many things ..if we only Listen w/ALL our senses...

Hate GM's riding. He has no connection. Eugh this is so painful for a dressage rider to watch :(

He gives the horse his head and doesn't do the face back bullshit that so many dressage riders do.

Seriously you clearly don’t know as much as you think you do.

True but he's riding a horse for the first time in a clinic setting trying to show an ignorant rider how to get a forward listening horse on the bit in 10 minutes...a challenge when the horse hasn't been ridden properly since they bought it from a good trainer

Great rider but I do think his way of getting the horse to walk backwards is a little harsh. :)

Since it took him three times to get the perfect stop on the fourth try, I think he is doing really well. The horse was obviously not listening. He does not have all day or all week to get the lesson given. Great man. I doubt you watched to the end, if you had gotten to 12" 25 you would have seen a very smooth reinback. He gave a lot more than 15 minutes of training and had great success in the 15 minutes he rode the horse.
