I absolutely love my Takibi. But man alive, buy one of the aftermarket grills as the one the set comes with is nearly impossible to clean, and worse, very hard to keep from rusting as unlike the entire rest of the firepit and assembly, it is NOT stainless steel.

There is something wrong with the recipe. 125ml of vinegar is way too much liquid for 3 tablespoons of karashi and 4 egg yoiks. It ends up super runny and not at all the thickness you have in this video.

I had a goose bump while watching the history of the snow peak. So touching!

The whole thing is stainless except for the grill, which is a real shame as the chrome on the non-stainless steel is also a potential food safety hazard.

It's a shame that Snow Peak goes cheap with the grill grate. The chrome plated grill not only rusts like a pig, but also leaks heavy metal and should not be used for preparing food. What's the point of having everything in 304 stainless except for the grill? Snow Peak should do the right thing and recall the grates!

This set-up needs a flat grill. Nobody likes cleaning this one because of the uneven surface. Other than that, it's an awesome firepit that every camper should have.

I first met the products in 2000, when working for their first distributor in New Zealand. Was floored by the design and quality of things like the Single Action table, the Solid stake and the copper faced hammer. Was a bit hard to convince the NZ retailers to accept the cost level, but the pieces I bought then have served me well for 20 years: so glad to see the world now seeing the value in the quality of your products. Have added the IGT system to my arsenal, and eyeing up Takibi next….

I loved all of their products. In the meantime I owned the IGT, Takibi and other utensils. Quality stuff.
