That's me getting kicked off stage in the green. The guy theyre talking about in the crowd was my best friend, fighting with the security guard. Rip, Porkchop.

That loiter issue looks like PIFFs.. Looks like its just constantly over-correcting. And you're right, larger Loiter circle would be good too.

It would have been fine if I'd stayed on the sticks. A possible repeat of last week though haha

I went back up to the crash site to see if I could find my GPS module. No luck, oh well. At least I have my GoPro! The "It's always further than you think" rule seemed to apply to this as well, maybe 50 yards from where you thought it would be. I should have ended this video with that "EASY" picture.

Decided that I'd use the trash can from yesterday rather than the ones from today, would be weird to go from evening back to daylight. Plus I liked the sound of the bag as it fell it. Fffwwp

I don't crash. Dunno what you're talking about. That's just periods of gravity increasing and the air thinning out.

Nice build...how you feel the japalura?
@Undertool7 жыл бұрын
I like it. I did have a bit of a yaw twitch problem but I seem to have fixed it by adding a cap to the battery leads. It does feel a little bit heavy, but flies pretty well for a small quad.

About 110 minutes. No video of the retrieval.

nice flying and where is the test?
@Undertool7 жыл бұрын
Whoops, misleading title. It was the first flight I'd tried a Pagoda antenna on, I'd been having range issues with my cloverleafs and wanted to see if these worked better.
@cobra48297 жыл бұрын
is it better? I'm thinking of buying it .Is it worth it?
@Undertool7 жыл бұрын
I've been buying them from FarView and honestly they're fantastic for the price. I replaced a set of TBS triumphs I had been using with these and the performance is about the same for half the price. I bought a pair of the pre-built ones and have been buying the build kits since. I'm not using the antenna covers, instead I 3d print spacers that sit between the boards and I heat shrink those in place. The only place I've really broken the antenna is at the sma connector and that is a pretty easy fix. goo.gl/photos/Qm1KpbCWWD5GeBH97

I kinda figured it's there and if I take it slow it'll be fine. The center pole got me the third time and I think when I hit it the last time that was what caused the damage to the pad. We'll have to move that thing a bit further out, I didn't want to fly through it when I was standing next to it. goo.gl/photos/uLJKmgYAgyRouQrv6 "Fixed"

Hey, amazing video

@scotts94z32 Thank you for the tips. I agree, they were things I noticed as well. Part of the reason I record these things is so that I can figure out what I need to improve. I kept telling myself I needed to slow down coming into the corners a bit, and I just need to get it through my head that I need to. Even after this run, which was my best, I knew I could do a lot better. My front end lost traction far too often. I think you very much for your advice, these are things I need to hear.
@scotts94z3214 жыл бұрын
A couple of general and specific pointers to help you out: -Get closer to the apex cones (use the whole track!). I noticed this throughout your run, but especially @:20 where you are a few feet off -Slow down on corner entry so that the car doesn't understeer (push) so much. That way you can get on the gas earlier to make get to the next turn. You can see this again @:20, @:40, @1:07, and 1:14. But keep at it! See you out there!

@scotts94z32 Of course I remember your Z, hard to forget a car that sounds that aggressive (I couldn't hear the supercharged Z over yours). I'll be out there again, I haven't missed one since I started going in February. I had a much better run during the fun runs, got 45.8. Unfortunately that one didn't count and my camera quit about 10 seconds in.

Smooth run! Good to see you out there - hope you come out again! (I was in the silver Z that ran in the group after yours).
@scotts94z3214 жыл бұрын
@Undertool Will do - I'll be there, but my car will be getting a full cage, so I'll be in something else and will look for you. The exhaust is from MotorDyne Engineering: I have their Shockwave single tip exhaust with XYZ pipe and the resonator, as well as their ART-style test pipes. Sounds great, and makes awesome power!

@scotts94z32 Yea, I need to learn to read sometimes. Yea, that was me in the white 350z during group 6. I meant to ask you about your exhaust after the runs but I didn't see you to talk to you. Just love the sound of it when you're out on the track. I should be up there May 2nd, so maybe I'll get a chance to talk to you then.
@scotts94z3214 жыл бұрын
Good line! Were you in group 6 or earlier? There was a white 350Z in the group I ran in (group 6). I was in the silver 350. Good job on cracking the 50s.
