Was staying in San Francisco in 1979 and unbeknown Boz was shifting some furniture out of the next door apartment. I offered to help him and his removal guys, having arrived from New Zealand, having no idea who he was other than a friendly fellow. He commented on my accent and i asked him what he did. He said he was a musician and proceeded to give me a couple of tickets to an upcoming show late the following week. Well i sautered off to his gig and - OMG - what an incredible night about this time Silk Degrees put him on the world stage. Been a massive fan ever since - this past 45 years!😎
