I believe dogs are emotional and they don't just drive and move off instinct ..they are far more intelligent than scientist claim and the Mind Of A Dog is essential to its overall performance meaning a dog can be depressed and lonely and sad and the mind influences the body!!

Hi Mr garcia. I love thos channel. I mentioned this before about a dog called Winston.. that dog was rolled at least 20 times and always come out on top. That dog never got matched for money

@cardboard316 Thank you. I appreciate it. There's been many dogs in the past that were used strictly as "roll dogs" to school other dogs. They were valuable to dogmen. In some cases good dogs just weren't shown,for a number of reasons.

Why is it a dog can lose his Gr Ch status but not his Ch status? Assuming it was all legitamatly earned. No fake reports or cheating

@MrOrcslayer That was a rule put in place by Jack Kelly who was the editor of the SDJ. He deemed that a dog had to win at least 3 shows to be declared a Ch regardless of how many losses it had but a Gr Ch had to win at least 5 straight with no losses,therefore if a dog won 5 straight and declared a Gr Ch and continued but lost after winning 5 straight he/she was relegated back to Ch status.

All gone now but my olde english bulldog, american bully and american bulldog all walked two miles every morning. The bully did light weight pulling to keep him in shape for ABKC shows but consistent exercise and good nutrition is key for everyday well being game dog or not

@alexanderguidry8293 No. Only the last 24 hrs. I waited for them to cool down after a workout before I gave them water and I had it available all the time. A dog knows how much water it needs.

Sometimes a weighted harness is put on a little loose so that the weights don't rub against the dog. It avoids injuries.

Mr Finley speaks pretty fast. I had a hard time understanding him. I changed the playback speed to 0.75 to slow his speech down , its easy to understand now. Great interview, lots of knowledge being shared. Thanks Mr Garcia
