I agree. NMo one will die on Heaven, but believers who enter the Millenial Kingdom will have children that must choose. If they reject Christ (I don't know how they could, but they will!), their lives will probably be shortened.

Unfortunately the churchfathers couldn't figure out that the Father - who is a spirit ("God is a spirit") - is inside Jesus and is simply called "Holy Spirit" by Him (see the Jesus' sermon about the TWO blasphemies - directed to Son and Father - where Jesus calls the Father "Holy Spirit"). The Father helped Jesus in the desert and also later when speaking. Thus no third person exists (of course: Jesus is only with the Father, NEVER with TWO persons, see the gospels).

@@knoxepc The Holy Spirit there is the Father who is a spirit: 1. Jesus says "God is a spirit" (Jn. 4:24) 2. Who is that "God who is a spirit"? No doubt, He is THE FATHER (Jn. 4:23,24) 3. Thus, you know that the FATHER - WHO IS A SPIRIT - is INSIDE JESUS (see "..from the Father who DWELLS IN ME") 4. Is there ANYONE ELSE there? No - CONTRARY TO THE TRINITY DOCTRINE- NO ONE ELSE is inside Jesus: "...you will leave me alone; but I AM NOT ALONE, for THE FATHER is with me." That is, Jesus explicitly says that only the Father is with Him. 5. But where did the Holy Spirit who helped Jesus in the desert go? First the Holy Spirit and now instead the "Father who is a Spirit," did They take TURNS? No "change of assistance," always the SAME SPIRIT is helping Jesus! The Father - who is a spirit - and is inside Jesus - is simply called "HOLY SPIRIT" by Jesus, see his sermon on the two blasphemies. He is always the SAME SPIRIT - who is the Father - inducing pregnancy in Mary, who spoke at Jesus' baptism, who guided Him in the wilderness and later helped in speaking, who will help the apostles... CONCLUSION: A: ONLY THE FATHER - who is a spirit - is inside Jesus B: That Father - who is a spirit - is called "HOLY SPIRIT" by Jesus (or "Holy Father).

3:45 this slide is difficult because it proposes a fallacious dichotomy. The two camps Calvinism and Arminianism were two sides of reformed theologians who were infighting, but they don’t represent the larger section of Christianity. And both schools are wrong because of the foundation they share:the doctrine of election. It is a falsehood that God only elects some people and both schools believe that, they just differ on how he chooses. The good news is they’re both wrong, God chooses to forgive everyone. No one is not chosen.
@knoxepc

We must choose the sacrifice of Christ for our sin. If we do not, we are not forgiven. RC Sproul said it best. As we enter heaven through the gate, the side coming in will say "Saved though your belief in Jesus Christ." After we pass through and look back, the other side says "Your name was written in the Lamb's book of Life from the foundation of the world."
@TheRomans9Guy
@TheRomans9Guy Жыл бұрын
@@knoxepc while I can appreciate the sentiment behind this quote of RC Sproul and so many others like it is to find a way to accommodate all of scripture and hold true to the whole teaching of God, the essence of it suggests an antinomy which ultimately is unnecessary and contra-biblical. RC Sproul’s reasoning is that the Bible does say man is responsible for his sins & choices, but that it also teaches that God must know in advance those he would save and has stayed he has selected those whom he will choose to save. Sproul’s error is that God does not have to know anything he doesn’t wish to know (man should not have the hubris to tell God what he must know) and the Bible strictly teaches against the idea that God chooses to save only some people. It teaches very, very explicitly that God offers forgiveness and salvation to all and those men who choose not to surrender to God and have faith will keep themselves on the path to eternal death. One of the major aspects of The story of the coming of the messiah is that the Jewish world was looking only for a Jewish savior. One who would be for them alone, and would conquer the infidels. They got the prophecies wrong. Paul calls it the revelation of a great mystery that the messiah was for the Jews but he also came to save the Gentiles too, not to conquer them (in the sense of putting them to death). Jesus spoke very clearly that God was inviting all people into the kingdom, not selecting some as Augustine and Calvin misunderstood (see Matt 22). Romans 9 and some other passages have been badly misunderstood by many popular theologians throughout time and their reading comprehension errors have led to a falsehood. God does not select some people for salvation. The doctrine of election is badly false. It may even be the work of the tempter himself. On the archway into heaven it will not have a saying on one side about our choice and a saying on the other side about God’s election. Sproul is dead wrong on this.

Hello and praise the Lord Jesus Christ. How's everyone doing? Do you think this is a reference to the battle of armageddon Zechariah 12:11 YLT In that day, great is the mourning of Jerusalem, As the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddon, NLT The sorrow and mourning in Jerusalem on that day will be like the great mourning for Hadad-rimmon in the valley of Megiddo. Armageddon, (probably “Hill of Megiddo”) The place where the kings of the earth in-service to Satan, will wage war against God's people at the end of this age. God bless Jeremiah 29:11

Hallelujah and praise the Lord Jesus Christ. Good stuff. Thanks Scott and everyone. This was really encouraging on so many levels. Here's some cool scriptures with the number 7. Glory be to our Wonderful Lord Jesus Christ: Revelation 5:1-9 And I saw in the right hand of Him who sat on the throne a book written inside and on the back, sealed up with seven seals. And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, “Who is worthy to open the book and to break its seals?” And no one in heaven, or on the earth, or under the earth, was able to open the book, or to look into it. And I began to weep greatly, because no one was found worthy to open the book, or to look into it; and one of the elders said to me, “Stop weeping; behold, the Lion that is from the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has overcome so as to open the book and its seven seals.” And I saw between the throne (with the four living creatures) and the elders a Lamb standing, as if slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God, sent out into all the earth. And He came, and He took it out of the right hand of Him who sat on the throne. And when He had taken the book, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, having each one a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. And they sang a new song, saying, “ Worthy art Thou to take the book, and to break its seals; for Thou wast slain, and didst purchase for God with Thy blood men from every tribe and tongue and people and nation. Zechariah 4:1-9 Then the angel who was speaking with me returned, and roused me as a man who is awakened from his sleep. And he said to me, “What do you see?” And I said, “I see, and behold, a lampstand all of gold with its bowl on the top of it, and its seven lamps on it with seven spouts belonging to each of the lamps which are on the top of it; also two olive trees by it, one on the right side of the bowl and the other on its left side.” Then I answered and said to the angel who was speaking with me saying, “What are these, my lord?” So the angel who was speaking with me answered and said to me, “Do you not know what these are?” And I said, “No, my lord.” Then he answered and said to me, “This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel saying, ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ says the LORD of hosts. ‘What are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you will become a plain; and he will bring forth the top stone with shouts of “Grace, grace to it!”’” Also the word of the LORD came to me saying, “The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house, and his hands will finish it. Then you will know that the LORD of hosts has sent me to you. God bless us all and strengthen us and refresh us and fill us with love, joy and peace till we overflow to the blessing of those all around and to the glory of God. Amen

Hallelujah and praise the Lord Jesus Christ. Thanks for the encouragement. May the Lord Jesus Christ richly and abundantly bless and protect you and your family. May He illumine brightly the path set before you and help conform your heart and mind to the Lord Jesus Christ more and more each day. May He give you abundant love, joy, strength, rest and wisdom as you serve Him and shepherd His children. God bless you brother. Romans 12:1-2 I urge you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect. I Thessalonians 5:16-22 Rejoice always; pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. Do not quench the Spirit; do not despise prophetic utterances. But examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good; abstain from every form of evil. I Peter 3:12 The eyes of the LORD watch over those who do right, and his ears are open to their prayers. But the LORD turns his face against those who do evil.” Hebrews 12:1-3 Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance, and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider Him who has endured such hostility by sinners against Himself, so that you may not grow weary and lose heart. Galatians 6:9 And we should not grow weary in well-doing. For in due time we will reap a harvest, not giving up. Proverbs 11:11 By the blessing of the upright a city is exalted, But by the mouth of the wicked it is torn down.

Proverbs 16:2-7 All a man’s ways are pure in his own eyes, but his motives are weighed out by the LORD. Commit your works to the LORD and your plans will be achieved. The LORD has made everything for His purpose- even the wicked for the day of disaster. Everyone who is proud in heart is detestable to the LORD; be assured that he will not go unpunished. By loving devotion and faithfulness iniquity is atoned for, and by the fear of the LORD one turns aside from evil. When a man’s ways please the LORD, He makes even the man’s enemies live at peace with him.

Deuteronomy 29:14-15 I am making this covenant and this oath not only with you, but also with those who are standing here with us today in the presence of the LORD our God, as well as with those who are not here today. Hosea 2:23 And I will sow her for Myself in the land. I will also have compassion on her who had not obtained compassion, And I will say to those who were not My people, ‘You are My people!’ And they will say, ‘Thou art my God!’” Romans 11:17-19 Now if some branches have been broken off, and you, a wild olive shoot, have been grafted in among the others to share in the nourishment of the olive root, do not boast over those branches. If you do, remember this: You do not support the root, but the root supports you. You will say then, “Branches were broken off so that I could be grafted in.”
