I love you man !!!!! I recently got the seahawk 4 and got a trolling mount for either a trolling motor or a small 3.5 Hp outboard but I had been trying to figure out the correct measurements for a floor board...Seen tons of vids on how to do it but no actual measurements..... I do have a question ..prior to adding the carpet would it been best to water seal the wood ??? Just asking and then again would it had made a difference ? but thx again..

I see no evidence of hurricane force winds in this video. I would personally estimate the maximum gusts to be in the 60-65 range based on the damage. The damage here looks quite similar to, and actually a little less severe than tropical storm elsa at it's landfall, which had gusts to about 70 at landfall.

for safety you might want to look into a fiberglass boat. or a wider catamaran style inflatable. have a look at truekit and takacat. although i recommend truekit

i hear ya, about how safe they feel. i have a 12' RIB and a 14' zodiac. safest-feeling boats i've ever been in. we salmon fish the ocean in my brother's 22' cabin cruiser, but i still feel safer in my inflatable. i've been in some big waves, and never even batted an eye. the boat just rides right over everything. love them.

I have seahawk 4. It is great boat but on the other hand, not suitable for 1 person usage. I really like its build quality. I am looking for a very reliable boat (and similar material as seahawk 4) but on the other hand, smaller than that (roughly 250cm length). what boat do you recommend? this seahawk 2 is a reliable boat?

For one person and no willing partners, the Seahawk 2 serves me fine. I can carry it and set it up by myself without any help, which is a big plus, the build quality is decent, the price was right and it can easily carry twice my weight. I had the bigger Intex boats and kayaks, but quickly discovered that they work best when you have a partner or helper, especially when you have physical limitations. I kept the Seahawk 2 because it does the job for me with minimum hassle and effort.

I am an older woman and have this kayak. I like that it is light enough for me to handle myself and fits into my Highlander if I have no passengers. The fact that it is so light makes it important to recognize its limitations...not the right boat to head out in the middle of a large lake, or take on a river unless it is very slow. Overall, glad I got it. Lots of fun!

It's made in China but has Canadian legal stuff on it because its for the North American market.
