Parallel in this kind of setup will be brighter than running them in series i believe. Plus its simpler amd easier to do.

@@kyroskiller no I understand that I'm not talking about currents constant series and additive in parallel. I was the engineer in charge of remittance processing at Phillips petroleum until the Conoco Phillips merger. It's the way you soldered them together that's got me curious it sure looks like they are stacked one on top of the other, instead of side by side. So that the one closest to the circuit board assuming they were attached exactly as they looked to me the bottom would have to shine threw two LEDs , the middle would shine thru one and only the one farthest from the board would shine full intensity since there isn't any led on top of it. It wasn't intended to question your wiring or such. I was just curious if it was to make it easier to record for you tube. Or maybe another reason that didn't occur to me. That was really all I wondered or it could always be my eyes going loopy on me it's happened a time or two thinking I saw something that was an optical illusion.

Oh crap I just went and saw my response and it makes absolutely no sense. In my defence I was fending off one of my kittens while one decided to set on my phone. And I screwed up and didn't double check it. That's my screw up and I apologize for that.
