I'm not even a Jones fan, but he beat everyone, plain and simple. I was rooting for DC and others to beat him, but to no avail. PEDs or not, his skill level is greater than everyone's. If taking PEDs was the magic needed to win, Chael Sonnen would ACTUALLY be undefeated.

W list, but the only one that i slightly disagree with is for featherweight, I think Ortega has a better resume than Yair(Swanson, TKZ, Moicano, Yair, Guida) but the Yair pick is fair. Also I never realized just how many great wins Joey B has, even over current ranked fighters like Perez and Elliot.

PED's are against the rules, that means Jon Jones simply is not the best and plain and simple a cheater. It's not an opinion, it's a fact. I'll give you a hypothetical. Soccer kicks to the head of a grounded opponent are illegal with today's rules and have been for quite awhile in the UFC. If a fighter went undefeated in the UFC by beating opponents using soccer kicks, he would be called a cheater and the entire fan base would not accept that fighter as the best. Eventually his record would be overturned and his wins would turn into DQ's. Why? Because soccer kicks to the head are illegal. Jon Jones has been caught multiple times using PEDs. PEDs, like soccer kicks to the head, are illegal in the UFC. Therefore Jon's wins should be overturned and turned into DQ losses or no contests, which means he is NOT undefeated, and NOT the best. It doesn't matter what people's opinions are on steroids or soccer kicks, if they have a bad name and if they should be allowed. What matters is they ARE NOT allowed. Period. It's cheating.

I agree with most points but the “meaningless stat” of the 67 year age gap is just a waste of everyone’s time. The stat just doesn’t make any sense, if you’re adding the age gaps lol of course it’s gonna be a big number he’s had like over 10 title defences. Prime fighting age anyways is older than the age Jon defended titles anyways.

Prime years for lhw fighters starts at 32/33 so when you win a title at 23 its normal to have that age gap 😂 Its not like the young guys didnt get a chance back in a days, for example undefeated 28 year old phil davis fought in title eliminator fight and lost 50/45 to rashad evans who was 33. You are just kid who recantly start watching sport and did investigation on some delusional internet naratives. Your breakedowns are even worst than your sound quality...

people are moreso talking about his greatness because 1. He went to MMA at an old age 2. he was successful in 2 weights Jon Jones was successful in one and has a questionable heavyweight career 3. People liked how he beat people, no controversial decisions but yes, I would probably put Jon Jones above Alex Pereira as a top mixed martial artist

Alex's rating is more so based on what he was able to do in the ufc in such a short time and at his age with zero grappling. Hes definitely has an argument for Top 10 in the heavier weight classes. and no one thinks he beats jones or aspinall lol. They are the only guys not afraid to shoot a takedown right away and know what to do with it.

Idk man 7 year age gap between you and your opponents, 2 failed PED test and numerous cases of circumstantial evidence to prove it, I didn’t even get into some of the weak defense he has comp wise, I mean OSP, Anthony Smith, Thiago Santos heck even Dominick Reyes, an immobile Stipe cause that would be “too subjective.”

He fought the best in the world at the time, if Jones never competed in the ufc, those guys woulda been champion running he division anyways. The age gap for the guys in the mid 30s isn't crazy either, Jon was really young. DC wasn't his prime at 35 probably but thats only probably, without Jon there he probably would have broke Tito's defense record anyways.

Khabib retired in his prime at barely 30, Topuria is 27 and thinking about fighting a few more years and retiring undefeated. Holloway entered so young in the UFC that today he's barely 30 something and is already out of title contentions. Jones fought people downhill or literally at the edge of retiring...
