In College we had Co-ed sports. I played Volleyball and Softball both Co-ed. The fundamental point is that was my choice. There were no scholarships' or any expectations of athletic incentives. Thankfully the injuries I endured were nothing compared to Payton. As a pitcher and a 3rd base softball player there are quite significant line drives that those positions are subjected too. One such line drive, by a male, hit me above my open glove at my wrist level, which took me to the ER. If you play on a women's team you have a reasonable expectation to be playing women and should be playing women. Instead of allowing trans women to play on women's teams, policy makers of scholastic sports should have Co-ed sports that hold the same standing / benefits as women and men team sports, with the same rewards as scholarships' If we do not have enough teams - they will just have to combine school teams. Women continue to have to fight to be recognized and paid what their male counterpart in sports have/make in income and valued as an legit athlete.

The septum bling says a lot about how "fads" are followed. I have thought for many decades that a lot of people have little to no imaginaton, so they follow fads. I reckon trans is just one more fad, part of the "look at me, I'm making a statement" sort of mentality, right down there with wearing septum bling, pierced eyebrows, lips, tongue and navel, and or tattooing and or pink and green hair. This of course relates mostly to Western cultures. I realize trans has been part of other cultures for eons, along with piercing and tattooing. So, part of the fad is copycat behavior. I know plenty of people who were born female who acted more like "males", but they didn't feel the need to butcher their bodies. A lot of the gay men I have known take on a "ditzy" persona, as if that represents "female". One thing I have noticed is that those who are part of the fad tend to wear their sexuality on their sleeve. I chose not to align myself with the oh so political clan of LBGT+. Just because someone is bisexual does not mean they are part of said clan. I feel no need to broadcast my sexuality. I do know one set of idential twins who were born as females. They both live as males now. I believe they have both received HRT and both had ovaries removed. They both have/had an undescended testicle. They have never developed secondary female traits, namely breasts. They are both exceptionally intelligent.

I feel bad for you but it’s your fault imo. I quit a drug called finasteride. I took it for hairloss but got the side effect of feminization including other sides. I quit and I haven’t made a full recovery. Because feminization, I’m less attractive. But unlike you I’m not blaming my doctor, it’s my fault tbh. I asked for a prescription. I am 100% against trans players in womens sports. However, this is a freak accident. Getting hit in the head with a volleyball wouldn't cause injury under normal circumstances, regardless of which gender hit it. As much as I would love to embrace this as evidence for my opinion this is just an unfortunate sports injury that doesnt have much to do with gender. The male kid sounds like a douchebag in all ways. Hope for her recovery.
