Eventually, V will be involved in this dispute after the events of the DLC "Phantom Liberty", where a corrupt software is installed in the Relic after V's contact with Blackwall, preventing they from dying because of it, but also allowing they to witness a part of the truth about the world. The software also emitted a very specific signal, announcing to the disputing sides that V carries a part of the truth. Now, V will have to take a side in this war. Templars or Assassins? You decide.

this is how I would write a story for AC in japan should I be the one in charge. the MC is a 'normal villager' from Iga (THAT ninja village). Oda retainer found a sword of Eden in Tsushima, thus Oda Nobunaga now have a possession of powerful weapon to embark on conquest/takeover of Japan. Nobunaga destroy Iga village. being homeless, MC found a worthy master to serve in Tokugawa. plot twist, Tokugawa had to serve Oda, thus MC have to grit their teeth as he/she serve the daimyo who's responsible for destroying his/her village. however, chance for revenge finally show themselves in Honno-ji. thus MC manage to kill Nobunaga and keep the sword of Eden (which is in Nobunaga possession). however, such artifact finally noticed by Templar/Jesuit. and with powerful shogun (Nobunaga) gone, Templar/Jesuit is free to rule Japan (with the aid of christian Otomo clan). so in order to keep sword of Eden safe, MC manage to convince Hideyoshi to begin persecuting christian (the main aim is to keep Templar/Jesuit away) using sword of Eden as a deal. however with such powerful artifact in his hand, Hideyoshi now tempted to rule the world, starting from Korea. MC can't stand the thought of more war, thus he/she assasinate Hideyoshi when opportunity present itself. after that, MC goes to Ieyasu, telling him about sword of Eden, and the danger of what happens should it fall to the wrong hands (templar), and the temptations it brings to those who wield it. so Ieyasu agreed to hide such powerful artifact. and to guarantee that templar won't get to it while at the same time also ensure he won't go to foreign conquest like Hideyoshi did, Ieyasu implement isolation policy (sakoku).

I once did an og cosplay of a Jedi assassin. A rouge Jedi who hunted both Jedi and Sith. And i took one of the pics from the photoshoot and made it look like the cover of an assassin's creed game. I called it Assassin's Creed : Dark Empire. I was a female rouge Jedi assassinating corrupted Jedi survivors of order 66, the Inquisitors and the empire. (This was before fallen order) My character's purpose was to destroy both sides and be the only survivor of the old republic because i couldn't take the jedi's bullsh*t and i certainly was not going to let the sith and the empire rule the galaxy.

The official theme sounds like ass compared to this.

I remember seeing this 2y ago and just jamming out to it. It's such an influencing piece in the ac fandom that I wouldn't consider it far fetched for them to feature it in Codename Red. It would certainly make the experience memorable

I just finished a Star Wars campaign with an Assassin's Creed style Jedi padawan who was slowly turning to the dark side. Not wanting her friends to die she flew her little fighter ship at a Sith warship and hit the hyperspace button. I played this to our party to illustrate the sacrifice.

The Assassin would be Ryu Hayabusa from Ninja Gaiden but in AC version
