I have taken many exams that have resulted with a bimodal distribution of scores, I think it is rarely a sign of cheating

These professors don't have to do anything other than rehash their same old lectures from previous years ripping off tax payers because of the government. I have seen a lot of students with 150k college debt for accounting or foreign language degrees.

This professor should be fired for his laziness, incompetence et al, because as a person in the academe, no one should ever teach and make an exam where all your questions will come from a test bank. What we have here is a stupid, lazy, bullshit, dogwater, incompetent professor who would do nothing but drag people down.

Most universities are incredibly corrupt and this guy is on an ego trip. They put the future earnings of their students in their pockets through debt and then talk about honor. Please...

A) Guy is too lazy to revise his exams year to year. B) Guy keeps the same set of questions for long enough that they are distributed among students. C) Guy thinks that reading, solving, and understanding 700 questions is not equivalent to studying for a test. (Are the questions supposed to by a mystery? Shouldn't an instructor make clear what they expect their students to learn for an exam???) D) Guy accuses everyone of cheating because he doesn't want to accept responsibility for his own mistakes. Lots of examples of how to be a bad teacher there for anyone in the business...

This guy is a Piece of S--t. Because he can't do his own job correctly, normal rule-abiding students must take the test twice. All because he's butt-hurt that some people cheated.

He's kind of asking for it by using the same test bank for so many years. When I started teaching, I was advised to create my own tests and never use the test banks. Sure it's a lot of extra work, but it's well worth it if you really care about preventing cheating. It's also common sense that you should even change those questions every so often. Surely, he must understand that he is partly responsible for this scenario.

I got called in one time in college for cheating. Their was an old test floating around that I was given so I used it. In the meeting with the Dean I told him that I used the old test . The professor had been using the same test for 10+ years so he got in trouble for never changing it

Am i the only one who doesn't see a problem with studying 700 questions for a 50 questions exam?Regardless if all of the questions are gonna be on the exam or not,the whole point of exams it to confirm that you acquired and have the necessary knowledge to be qualified as a person who can handle himself regarding this particular subject. So if you studied from a testbank basically containing a Huge amount of questions around the material and you managed to memorize them all,i see this more as fair game and you did your part in what concerns completing the course and acquiring the knowledge from it.What difference does it make if you used this testbank or any other resource for studying as long as you have studied and put the work in?
