David grew up and experienced alot of turmoil along the way but, his voice always held us all in aww. I miss you my friend. Rest well in heaven, you are loved and missed.

I just came across this video and it made be cry for David. He HATED being called a "Teen Idol". He wanted to be known as an actor and a singer/songwriter. This show was held in 2013--just 4 years before he died. At this point, David was already feeling very unwell physically, mentally and emotionally. He was drinking heavily AND he very much needed money. Therefore, he had to accept gigs like this. Our beautiful talented David, who sold out stadiums and arenas, and sold millions of records, had to resort to this. It must have been embarrassing for him, but he obviously tried to make the best of it. "Now cracks a noble heart. Good night, sweet prince, flights of angels sing thee to thy rest." You have to give David credit with all of his demons all he wanted to was entertain,I respect him for that. He made other people’s life’s better.

And later in my life, David and I were neighbors in Beavertown , I moved there in Feb. 1998 He was happy I decided to, because back in Jan. 1987 I was asked if I would like to be a housekeeper, and caretaker? But I had, planned to be with family, my mom had been in hospital for months, and a rest home, and was now finally home. The rest of the family, planned on a beautiful holiday for her in CAPE COD MASSACHUSETTS ❤ A place my mother always wanted to live in. And so, it was being put off,until they would figure out arrangements for my parents home, and someone to care for the family's pets. I straightaway said that I would be happy to help out ❤ And so, turned down David's off of employment back then. David ended up with beloved, Lois Wagner ❤ THANKYOU ❤ AGAIN FOR THIS VIDEO ❤ PLEASE, GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR LOVED ONES ❤ BE GOOD TO YOU ALSO ! MARY

I was at that show. It was a great start, until some drunk ladies in the balcony kept shouting and the show ended earlier than anticipated. Having seen DC in concert so many times he liked to talk to the audience in his later years and they did not appreciate his dialogue, unfortunately. One even kept yelling, "Don't talk, just sing!"
