Winning 151 straight games isn’t supposed to be possible in football or in any sport yet De La Salle did it. I guarantee you this record will never be broken

I’m trying to understand why Terrance Kelly was killed the news said it was over a basketball game but there had to be more to the story to why a fifth-teen year old just went up to Terrance car and killed him.

Played against Kelly for a few years...Was looking forward to playing against him in college. From a pure talent perspective, that guy was by far the most talented player I ever played against in HS and College. Played every position exceptional! No doubt in my mind he would've been in the NFL.

I just saw an ID documentary about what happened to this great young man who had so much promise. He really looks as great as his family and friends described him on the field. He would have gotten at least a tryout by a few NFL teams in my opinion. May he rest in peace. 🙏🏈

Awesome football team. We have good football here in the Cincinnati, Ohio area too. De La Salle came here a few years ago and played one of our Good teams Elder. Elder was winning the game very late in the 4th quarter and De La Salle scored a late touchdown at the end to win it. It was a close call for De La Salle.
@GideonShofar37 Жыл бұрын
yea DLS was not very good that year, but not to take away from the great football played in Ohio - St X, St Edwards, St Ignatius, Massilon, Elder etc are all top notch in their primes

IMO, this 2003 DLS football team was the best of all time. They actually had a passing game with QB Lupina. Five, countem, five DLS players, including power RB Terrence Kelly were recruited by University of Oregon. Unfortunately, Kelly was killed by a jealous homeboy in Richmond who felt slighted by Terrence. I just loved this team because they had it all. Their DB's were probably the best we will ever see. Not a very big team, but very precise offensively, and they put three or four guys on the opponents ball carrier at all time. This is what DLS is missng throughout 2015-2017. Let's get a QB coach and a QB who can throw the ball like Lupina. !!@@!!

i can't find that movie? can u show me on imd or something? i only seen the de la salle movie that bothered me. cause they never showed anything about the streak. i missed other players they could of shown and film too. they got it all in a room. im just mad about it. it'ws nothing about de la salle it'ws about downers. about tk and lads heart attack and almost died. its sad but i don't like that. bring the real out of de la salle and not just about the 1 season where we sucked. how does that show how great we were? not until the end u think wow dls was good? they show u some film and show u what we did and lad's record. but the whole movie they don't talk about anything but this 151 streak which makes u think okay there good. but what about the years b4 that? we only lost 25 games total from 1979-2013 and that';s fucking amazing we won more championships with lad a total of 28 region championships and 1 loss in 19991 to a great pitt team. that's it though. why not talk about the first loss and then show the streak in the movie. how we killed everyone and show the scores and show each game. then go on to 2004 the year that de la salle came down. because of a heartbreak tx situation with the team loosing a nice guy teammate and loosing their coach and not knowing if he's coming back. they went thru a lot in 2004 and they played power houses that year which i don't think they should of. they should of just said no maybe next year and just played area teams because of lad being gone then the streak might been lucky. just like we barely beat mater dei a few times and barely beat poly a few times. but we won because we practiced all year with lad. lad had a set back and i think that gave a lot of the players a lost year. so it hurt are team for 4 years...... it shows from 2004-2008 and then we got better and started winning those bowl games over centennial and others. so i'm heart broken over the movie.
