How did you attach the Leitner rack to the trailer? Did you drill and bolt it down; or did you use the C-clamps? Also I've seen on all other Leitner racks there's a set of diagonal cross braces but I don't see them on your trailer rack? Did you not install them?

I used rivnuts to mount the frame rails directly to the body of the trailer. The diagonal cross braces are in the back.

Great video! Have you tried transporting your enduro bike without the wheel chock? Wondering if there's a lot of jiggle if the chock is not used given the expanded width of the trays/arms vs those on the 1Up Heavy Duty rack that I currently have.
@motorcodeunited

Without the wheel chock there will deffantly be more movement in the front wheel but I found if you increase your tire pressure it reduces it a ton!

I just got mine and it's a beast! One thing you might have missed. You don't need to use 2 hands to unlock the ratchets. You push the red tab and tilt the housing slightly and it stays in place so you can pull open the arms without having to hold the red tab down. 😉🤙🏼

If you get a tdi assuming you’re in the states you can find one with a warranty still on it from the dieselgate fiasco. Idk when they stopped doing the emissions fixes but you might even find one that still has 4 yrs/48k on it. I bought a 2010 Jan 2020 and it’s on warranty through end of 2023 and 28k miles left. Literally almost everything aside from suspension, body, coolant system (unless it’s to the EGR) and cosmetics is covered. And those engines are super reliable as is. Problem is once it’s out of warranty, even minor repairs tend to cost way more than the same failure on another car. Finding a trustworthy mechanic who’s familiar with the car is a must and can save you thousands

Maybe, but not like they do. With enough ground clearance and momentum, you can plough through a lot of hard stuff. That doesn't mean it's the right way to do it. In the video, the Porsche did manage to make the rock climb but only going way faster than it should.
@OverlandTT

@@TheMAPMA The pre-2010 models were known for being over engineered and have a proper low range transfer case. Our Grand Cherokee ratio is 272:1 and the Cayenne is 270:1 Loved and used the Grand all over the place and now do the same with the Cayenne... I'd only wish Jeep and the same build quality this Cayenne has and want the Cayenne to look more Jeep - for my own taste.
