Given these short sharp clips doesn't detract from the fact that these guys were super quick!!

The most insane think about nick matthew in this match is that, he just had a 2hrs+ 5 games battle with james willstrope less than a day before, but was able to recover and beat greg gaultier in the finals, in yet another 5 games battle that was almost 90mins

A guts effort for Matthew to win it...........he looked poked at the end of the 1st set!!

By the way just sayin he didnt mean it the way it happened in that way, yes he wanted to drop but not in that way and he apologized with his racket right after he played it before the camera goes away from him to the clap but still what an amazing shot regardless lol

anyone else think it's really weird how at about 0:35 Greg just isnt interested in what palmer's doing? and just watches the front wall waiting for the next shot, just like a beginner would do? haha
@nocis168 жыл бұрын
+KindaVlogs He could be watching the reflection on the glass
@watching991344 жыл бұрын
@KindaVlogs I think he thought Palmer's only chance at it was to block it to avoid getting hit by the ball and therefore it wouldn't have much pace on it and it would just be floating up somewhere near the front.

wieso ist das bei 0:57 ein Punkt für MAT (weiss) ? Was übersehe ich? Wer kann mir helfen? Danke.
@marcelschwarz731710 жыл бұрын
Das ist ein "Let-Point" da Mat bereits in Schlagposition war und nicht spielen konnte. unter Let Point einfach mehr lesen.

sorry I posted this so long ago and wasn't as informed as I am now. But he has slipped a bit he was ranked top 3 for a time but now hes barely top 10 if he is at all
@adamwatson766911 жыл бұрын
Not very good? What on Earth are you talking about? He's greater than the majority of squash players in the world. Relative to the select few best players, he's slipped a little. But he's a very very good player.

still a major choke artist in this match... don't misinterpret his comment.
@watching9913411 жыл бұрын
I thought that was a very weak let by Palmer (minimal interference, not much effort to get to the ball)…

Probably it did, but you give the guy the benefit of the doubt for his effort and willingness to entertain the crowd on a shot which has no possibility of saving the point.
