There's no need to resort to name-calling here, Sebastian. Bex is far from an idiot. She had intended to hand the petition over to Cardiff Council but they persisted in blocking her attempts ( see other comments on this page ) so, on the day, the petition was handed to the DWE as a show of support. It will be also handed to the Council at a later date. Why don't you get your facts right before butting in and being abusive?

I will be delivering a copy to County Hall as soon as it can be arranged. I have contacted them via email and telephone on various occasions and when I tell them what I intend to do, they filibuster and tell me that I cannot hand over a petition unless my local councillor is there to take it. They keep telling me that they will 'get back to me' to arrange this, but mysteriously, they don't. So your suggestions haven't been ignored - I'm just trying to find a way to get a copy down there. My local Assembly Member has written personally to the Head of BBC Worldwide too, so this is another aspect that hasn't been ignored. The delivery at the DWE was a show of support by the fans who are aware that the staff there are just as upset as everyone else - and perhaps with more reason, as they'll be out of jobs soon.

I would suggest reading the update information that has been put on the petition page before commenting in ignorance. you might appear thoughtless and ungrateful otherwise.
