can you explain how the trigger skip at 5:10 works and if there is a way to make it run-viable (in normal)? people have segd/considered running this map but have never been able to make sense of that trigger skip in particular

same way a headclip works but a lot more difficult since the clipbrush is thicker the way i done it is i held duck until i was under the clipbrush then released it i don't think this strat is viable on normal. well, it might be, idk

@@prestarb we weren't able to replicate the trigger from underneath even after repeatedly jumping and spamming crouch right under it for a while, though we were able to with some speed when we hit the exact corner between the two clips and were spamming crouch. do you know why this could cause it to be possible to do?

A bit hard to explain but Its purely rng, you need to be jumping on the exact tick to lineup the jump so when you reach the corner you are pretty much not registered and then next tick will register you inside the trigger, somewhat similar to the arcane trigger skips but not quite

you can get also more speed if you get stuck in prop and start spamming save checkpoint in that stuck position and find the sweet spot and player goes flying super speed in diffrent directions. also while stuck in that prop you can shoot the prop for more glitchiness and get speed boost

dk much about prop boosting, but with checkpoints in seg/tas i often have an issue; when you cp on a boost going up you have the same thing, you just keep going up infinitely
