It is based on the thermostat adjusted using the potentiometer for controlled heating. If you want more heating adjust it to the maximum and if you want reduced heating adjust to the least. So, on and off is normal just adjust the potentiometer accordingly

Use a three plug cable with fuse. The earth wire will be the return for the leakage. The shocking is most probably due to the cable, it might be 2 core with live and neutral

Once the coil breaks, replacement is the best option. It can't be fixed, the resistive wire inside will no longer be continuous

The gnirehtet will have installed on your phone, whenever you want to connect you just have to type gnirehtet run to reconnect. Then about playstore it should run
