How did you find the drawer number, I don't get it

Each section on the board represents numbers of phone keypad. Find the drawer number (repeated 4 digits) in the board until it stops as per activity book. e.g., 1101 goes from keypad 1 & 2, next set of 1101 goes between keypad 2 & 5, next set of 1101 goes from keypad 5 & 4, so 1254 is code.
