I always try to be straight to the point with my videos! You will NEVER hear me going on about the weather, what I had for dinner or anything else. Honestly, part of the reason I started doing this was because I don't like the videos that go on and on . . .just get to the point!

After you cut both layers you just apply them one at a time with the heat press. I have a video here kzbin.info/www/bejne/f2mog513lrGSraMfeature=shared that shows that process (cut with a different machine but the application of the vinyl would be the same)

Thank you for explaining how to make our own SVG without Cricut access. I tried doing along side of you and it really did not take long using the contour tool.

You are very welcome! Just remember, when you do this it is NOT really a SVG file. It is just a layered Cricut cutting file since you can never get it out of Cricut Design Space. If you want to learn to make SVG files you will need to create them in a different software.

Thanks Shawn, I've been wondering whether to continue with my access membership 🤔 I like to do my own designs but using access means they're not mine so I'm wondering what design platform to use. Canva charges to save as svg. I'm trying Inkscape but boy it's confusing 😕 So you still design with ds but download your elements from sites like Creative Fabrica and Design Bundles, is that correct?

make sure that you downloaded Design Space directly from the Cricut.com website. If you are trying to download an app, from the app store, there are some fake ones that will require you to pay in order to download them. www.shawnmosch.com/downloading-cricut-design-space/
