thank you very informative. Now if I could just get an SVG out, especially the ones I created or an long one I made (like 19 inches but only 4 inches wide)
@TheShawnMoschКүн бұрын
There is no way to export an SVG from Design Space. The files that Cricut provides might be in SVG format in the Cricut database, but they want you to sign up for Access to use those filles. Cricut Design Space is not a true vector based system.

You really going to sell the hatchlines svg on your site and not just have a download link? Greedy and unnecessary move on your part...
@TheShawnMosch12 күн бұрын
I do offer some SVG files for free on my site, but others I sell. This is one that I sell for $1, so nothing that will break the bank for you or make me rich.

Thank you for doing a simple design showing the tools rather than going crazy. We can always go crazy once the tool or simple process is learned and not confused with fancy designs .

I agree that everyone needs to learn the basics, which is why I always try to focus on teaching what the functions in Design Space really do for you!

Shawn not sure if you are aware of this hack, but if you up your color tolerance higher to say 100, it could take to much color away but if you slowly go down and try 75 and then 50 your image will end up being crisper. I hope this helps.
@TheShawnMoschАй бұрын
I did try those hacks, and for me they don't seem to work as well as they used to with the old upload process. Finding a high resolution image worked so much better.

Thank you for sharing this, but this is why I don't support certain companies and one of the reasons i don't buy cricut machines. I don't get the fascination with cricut and silhouette 😢. There are so many other companies with way better machines that have longevity and aren't treating people like cash cows and atm's. Thanks Shawn. I appreciate your time.
@TheShawnMoschАй бұрын
I here you. This is another reason why I show people that you can use a Cricut without paying for Design Space. I still use my Explore from almost 10 years ago to make everything I make so I really don't try to encourage feeding the greed of the company.

Shawn, I love your videos! It would help me if you would pull the layers out side by side after you contour. That way I can see what the finished layers look like. Please and thank you.

since I did not want to update the video again, I added an image that shows the layers separated on my website at www.shawnmosch.com/grinch-svg/

@LuckyDeb-O7RАй бұрын
It should be noted that you need a Cricut subscription to Design Space to do this!

actually, no, you don't. I have never paid for the Cricut Access subscription so anything I show can be done for free.
