You would connect 2 together. For example if you have 17 steps you could connect step 1 and 2 to output 1.

what if you want go up the stairs halfway and want to come down??? lights will still turn off ?

They will complete the triggered up lighting sequence, then turn off.

There are sensors up and down stairs, so if you are in the middlle the sensors know that, quite simple eh? and they activate(turn off lights) agin when you go off the stair... Or something.

It is based on a user selected on time. When a sensor is triggered it lights based on which one was triggered, turns on based on the pattern selected, stays on for the selected duration, and then turns off based on the selected off pattern.

Looks great! One thing though. What if I forgot to do something around the top of the staircase and start going back? The lights will be off at the bottom?...
