I have made this wallet and yes it’s easy enough UNTIL you have to sew the back exterior on. I had used a mixture or vinyl and canvass (first time) and the area where you have to machine over the top where the zipper ends are I simply could not get my machine through. Such a shame as it was looking great up to that

I love this video much better. This was a simple video which was easy on the ears and easy for beginners to follow. I’m not a new beginner, but I still consider myself a beginner because I haven’t reached a professional level in my opinion. Your wallet came out nice, but I liked the black one better.

When I am sewing with sticky like vinyl I use a clear hair oil that I got at Walmart in the beauty section. It works great when top stitching and does not stain the fabric. Wipes right off.

Loved your tutorial. Just an fyi, I work in a sewing factory where we make all kinds of bags/totes from different kinds of fabric including Vinyl. When we sew on vinyl we put oil on the tip of our fingers and rub the area that is going to be sewed and no problem with the vinyl.

I also have a KZbin channel what I have learned is that you wanna do your part in Broderie la so your puff part will be less so meaning what you could do is that you could do your crown first and then do your part on top of your crown so it doesn’t have that function because the problem is that when you are taking out your your foam, can you do it one right away and then if it really is starting to restitch on top of it it’s not going to have any other aspect of foam
