so why are the lower branches growing downward, leaving much of the foliage laying on the ground? I heard you mention something about it but couldn't hear what you said.

Can big leaf hydrangea grow in full bright shade? No sun all all? The other option I have is afternoon sun for 2pm to 6pm zoon 8a. Please advise me which location is best for them to bloom

Hello Kelly. I cut some low lying roots to fix a broken sidewalk slab and now the leaves on my Linden tree are turning yellow. Did I kill it?

I want one, that being said-what will you do for the lawn when the “knees” pop up?
@Tartug14 ай бұрын
From what I've heard, the knees tend to pop up more when in a pretty wet area. If in a yard, frequent mowing should keep them down.

Just moved to Iowa and appreciate this video! So glad to see a small business carrying natives!

Iowa DNR chart lists Balsam Fir as native to Iowa. Is it? (we would like to plant one but have committed to Homegrown National Park to only plant native)

Should this one be pruned?
@RealBradMiller10 ай бұрын
It blooms on old wood, so you want to prune immediately after flowering, but then you are sacrificing the berries, and possibly the next year's flower buds for that particular branch. It's best to let them grow out for a few years, removing any branches that cross, are dead or diseased, or in the way, and every like seven years take it to the ground almost to rejuvenate it. I've got a black lace and and lemony lace in my front beds. Lime green for the morning, deep purple for the evening sun! Cheers

I lovet idea, do you ship those kits to Canada?
@TedLareGardenCenter Жыл бұрын
We apologize for the delayed reply. Unfortunately we aren't set up to ship these kits at this time, but most of the supplies can be found at your local craft store or online. For fresh branches, we recommend checking with local nurseries and tree farms in your area, or if you know an area where you could harvest your own branches that would work too!

Very interesting information. I have lived on a farm my whole life, and we have always called them corn spiders. Now that I know how beneficial they are to my garden, I will let them be. Thanks for the very informative video!
