Excellent work! I was really into VW's about 10 years ago and had 5 at one time with only one drivable..🙄4 Bajas and a volksrod. A big swap at the time was using a Subaru motor with adapter plate from Kennedy engineering. They were ridiculously fast and much more reliable than a supped up Aircooled motor. My friend had a Hayabusa Suzuki Motor in his rail with a Bus trans. Not very affordable for most of us, but he was single with no kids. (still is I think😳) Anyways Im off into the weeds... My point was that this is a very doable engine swap. Great custom build!

Can you use this method for a 1 18 scale Dodge charger from Ertl
@hardnockgaragediecastcusto576Ай бұрын
@@Part-timeMoparcollector partly… I have lifted the suspension on Ertl models - you can use longer screws to lift the suspension and then add some rods to keep it all aligned - but that wouldn’t be working suspension. I think for that rear truck bed where the two cars sit, you could make that into a rolling bunker, with either flame throwers or Mad Max-ified machine guns. Think the guns like on the Elvis or on the Mercury Cougar XR7 in Furiosa. The idea for the look could take inspiration from the armoured truck from Land of the Dead or the armoured buses from InFamous 1 - as long as the style doesn’t stray too far from the Mad Max look😅
@hardnockgaragediecastcusto5763 ай бұрын
I could do something like that - would need some additional armor plating… is an area for moving between the truck and the trailer and for storage too - flame thrower there would be good to protect the cab sides
@Roadkill-Films3 ай бұрын
@hardnockgaragediecastcusto576 That could be good! Perhaps some platforms on the side of the tankers like on the Furiosa War Rig. As well as some form of barricade on the bottom half of the tanker to prevent people from climbing up.
