Thank you so very much for your videos of your trip. We will be on the January 9, 2026 for the same itinerary. I am so excited. If you could post a packing list with what you and your wife would recommend that would be most amazing. Also, did you leave Buenos Aires the same day of ship departure or did you stay over?

Unfortunately, we don't have a packing list. We made sure to pack a waterproof-windproof outer layer then layer as needed. Weather is unpredictable, so we kept our outer layer in a backpack with us at all times. Also bring cold meds and motion sickness meds.

How long does it take to get from Heathrow to Dover? I’d like to stay in London before or after. Is it easy to get to and from London from Dover? I plan on staying in Dover the night before the cruise. Are there ferries to get to France? Or the D Day beaches from Dover? Sorry for all the questions but you guys are the first vloggers I’ve come across with the same itinerary. Thanks!!
@LetsJustGoThere15 күн бұрын
@@maryroberts2099 it takes about two hours to get from London to Dover. We'll be doing another trip from Dover later this year, staying in Dover near the Castle. I'll have more information of the transit to Dover in those videos as I'm still making arrangements for travel. You can take the Channel Tunnel (High Speed Rail) to cross the English Channel, it leaves near Dover. You should join the Facebook Group for your cruise. We received many ideas from the group and that's how we arranged travel from London to Dover Cruise Port. A large military group was going on the cruise and needed two more people to fill their van. Not only did we get transportation but meet new friends. Remember everything is expensive in Europe!

Was it difficult walking from the Queen Mary to the Carnival dome check in area?
@LetsJustGoThere24 күн бұрын
It was simple and easy. We also couldn’t walk straight across due to the Dark Harbor (Haunted House) in the parking lot. It’s about 200 yards to the entrance of the dome/check-in area. If you stay at the Queen Mary…check with Sam’s / Cosco for the cheapest rates.

The emeralds are real. They are very clear, they are perfectly colored, and they are large. They are indeed worth a fortune. The royal guard does have fancy uniforms. They don't wear them at Rosenborg. They wear them when guarding the places where the royal family lives. And unlike those in London, their rifles are loaded even when they wear their fancy uniforms.
