This is lovely. Very nice exhibition! Only this morning, I received a bamboo case of 13 or so Chinese calligraphy brushes! I am excited to try them. I used to do nib and ink Calligraphy, black letter etc, until a hand injury, over 20 years ago stopped that. Now I am in my 60's but I am trying watercolor! I did oils before starting as a child. Thanks for your demonstrations! I feed the wild birds all year and I have purple finches at my feeders all the time in Virginia. I love to paint birds.

Love to see a simple four color palette! My teacher painted with only four colors and a 1 inch brush. In fact, my teacher used the very same setup but with different colors. This video is a good example that you can paint a wonderful painting using the bare minimum. Thank you for sharing!
