It hits because of the offset on your wheels. And its hitting with no suspension flex. Only gonna be worse. I have 35's on my Tundra on factory wheels, no problems.

@@eriknash8783 my understanding is that without the more positive offset 35’s would hit without a body mount chop?? What height lift do you have? Also, this is now 3 years later and I have had no rubbing issues at all, even with light off-roading!

My original plastic housing has 247k miles haha don’t understand why people want to switch or feel the need to switch . If you’re careful and don’t over tightens things you’ll never have an issue

@@tundras4ever552 yeah I hear you! I switched on my wife’s Rav 4 because the plastic tabs broke off. That was before i had the better Motiv X filter tool, so that helps! I probably didn’t need to but since I do have it done by a shop sometimes and they cranked down so hard this past time I got nervous about it failing and then being SOL!

@ I can’t argue with that, as someone who’s worked in a Toyota shop for a few years yea some lube techs and even mainline techs have a tendency to overtight things and sometimes unfortunately break a few things haha

AIR BAG WARNING - The portion under the radio has an airbag light on it. If you do not have it plugged in when you start up the truck, it will trigger the warning. My 4Runner was the same way. Make sure you hook that piece back up before hooking the battery up and starting the truck even if everything is not assembled and you are only testing.

Thanks for the video! we are looking to put a truck camper on our F350. It has the camper package/5Th wheel prep, the payload is 3852. I want to stay under or at 3K Lbs. I never knew truck campers weighed so much until looking to buy one. I have concerns about legal issues if something was to happen being over weight.

Did your set come with clips that go in the back window weather strip channels? Mine did for my F-150, but my friend bought a set for his 2019 Tundra and they didn't come with those. I got mine directly form WT and he got his off Amazon (but the paperwork said "Weathertech - Amazon"). Thanks.

You should’ve got better Billings upgrade them. Those are like the lowest model of Billins. I just installed 5160s in the back and I think there’s 6100s or 6200s in the front. It was a pain to install that made me happy when I was done with it all, nice modest 2 1/2 inch lift with upper control arms front anti-roll bar and put in and I’m ready to install my rear hellwigs sway bar, which is better than TRD Because they’re adjustable and way nicer and you don’t have to pay the stupid ass tax for Toyota you probably spent five 600 bucks on that rear one just for the name when my brand is way better adjustable and spent 400 you wasted your money, my friend and I need to upgrade those shocks If you stop eating so much food, you could afford the better stuff just fucking with you love you

@@christoph286 I asked the company and you have to use their microphone:/ and definitely do it! The tiny hole that’s on the front of the unit doesn’t pick up your voice super well

You do realize that the area where the mud flap/screw to car body is NOT a moving area/part! any damage you see is there when installing the flaps? can we have some common sense? thank you

@@mracer8 you don’t think it flaps when you’re driving 70 mph on the interstate? Or being hit with debris on a dirt road?? It definitely wiggles around and if any grime or dirt gets between that and the paint overtime it will wear through the paint. Think before you try and belittle others.

@@tijerina1986 yes I am! It’s been good, I need to figure out how to get the bass to work. Apparently it doesn’t send enough power to the amp to click it on so I don’t have any bass. But I’m wondering if that’s an install mess up or something?! But other than that it’s been great!

That lower(free) wire plugs into the back of the thermostat/hazardlight controls panel.. that panel also has the little airbag guy for the passenger
