RichTRM, i agree with EVERYTHING you said. There were a couple of things i liked, like Valentino's design and the chicken dance (but ONLY because my family and i own chickens, so yeah) and Magnifico, but the rest of the movie? Yeah, it's pretty bad, with Welcome to Rosas being the reason i perked up since i was falling asleep before it started, and it was a DVD version borrowed from our library 😅😅! If you know or don't know, there's the art book of Wish, and it explains what we almost got: a personality for Asha akin to Esmeralda, Meg, and Kida, the Hamlet was actually a secret home that protected them from Magnifico, who, with his wife Amaya, were gonna be the 1st EVER Disney villian couple that was royalty.. and the worst thing that was changed/scrapped? The star - the little luma from the Super Mario Bros Movie - was actually a STAR PRINCE that would've shape-shifted, and his personality would've been goofy, sweet, fun, but with a good heart, which would've been a foil to Asha's more condescending attitude (she most likely would've been the Princess if they didn't have her hide out in the Hamlet).. and the second song in the movie that she and Magnifico sing, At All Costs? It's a love song, despite what interviews and Julia Michaels said (tho she was only given like, 2-4 weeks to write the songs with her given barely any info about the plot except "Its about an activist that wants to help her people", and she wasn't allowed to change ANY of them after they were written, so that's why the music and songs suck. And why am i mentioning At All Costs, i hear you ask? Well.. it was NEVER a song about orb bubbles at all, no! It was/is a love song between Asha and Aster, the wishing star prince, and the song was about EACH OTHER, since he would've been her love interest, which we haven't really had since Tangled, with the love in Frozen being more about Anna and Elsa! Oh, and they changed 1 lyric (there's another that's "Burning all fronts," but you really can't tell unless you listen to it closely, so i don't care about it): You know the lyric "Promise as one does"? Which is..🤮🤮🤮! Well, originally, it was "Love you as one does," and there are SO many animatics based on the Demo (which i call At All Costs, movie version being The Imposter) alone! So much so that people have come up with their own rewrites about Wish, a few of them even being into movies!🤩🤩🤩 I'd like to know your thoughts on what I've said, and I've also made rewrites too. Sorry about the rant, since im on Team Original Wish, and i guess I've given you more of a reason to hate this movie now, and don't worry, im with you on that. Your video is awesome btw, and happy 2 birthdays to the friend you shouted out!😊😊😊😊

Stallone like many of them, comes from wealthy family. They all seem to have this story where they are homeless sleeping on a mattress and they know exactly how many dollars were in their pocket when they had this great breakthrough. I’m not taking anything away from his accomplishments. he’s terrific. But I don’t buy all the BS of how it started.

Honestly worst take I’ve ever heard

I totally agree with you on the movies, but I'm a fan of the book. My gripe with the movies, including those that you said, was everything they left out. Since you read the book, you should know what I'm talking about. They also tried to make the Fremen analogous to the American Indians, in some kind of nod to political "correctness" or something. I am very curious about how they plan to handle Dune Messiah, which is a very downbeat book where almost no action takes place. I'm sure they'll gloss over all that and somehow give it a happy ending.

It takes more than half the video to say you liked the film, yet gave zero reasons why you feel that way. I really think you need to take more time producing content.

After watching your first Dune review and hearing this, i have several more notes. First and foremost, dont blame a film for your bad script. If your script is bad, thats on you, not the film. 2nd, if you truly didnt understand anyones motivations, then you really did not pay attention literally at all. 3rd, you somehow give Dennis shit for the black and white scene and want to compare it to Oppenheimer somehow. Lastly, you saying that theres a lot of exposition yet no character development, again shows you didnt pay attention to whats going on. I really hope you do get better as a script writer and content creator, rather than just randomly half assed shitting on things. Case in point, you thinking it took til halfway through part 2 for Paul to realize how he can control the Freman, prooves that you didnt pay attention. Maybe next time, actually take notes so you can be sure youre making valid, cohesive thoughts.

As a fellow small channel content creator, i have to say that this take and your enthusiasm even handling your own VO and script work is awful. Most of your points end with you saying "idk" and you barely put any effort into explaining why you feel the way you do about most points. You hold Dennis accountable for dune going wrong when it doesnt have the same vibe or tone as his other works. You call it boring and dull without prperly explaining your evidence, you dont bother speaking about things in their own subjects (cinematography, costume, set design). Mostly, it just baffles me that you claim the characters dont feel anything when the characters feelings on things drive the plot. If you think THIS is a bad movie, id love to know what you consider to be "good". Lastly, if youre just gonna shout and worry about your neighbors at the expensive of not explaining yourself, then youve failed as a reviewer.
