I’m always irritated when I remember that my local university used to have fiber arts classes like weaving and pattern building. But at least I was lucky enough to have been under a fiber artists wing since I was 13. It’s been over 10 years of us being friends outside of school and she’s still one of the best teachers I’ve ever had. I love the fiber community so much ❤ much love from the opposite coast!

The issue of men in women's sport has nothing to do with ability and everything to do with safety, particularly in contact sports because mass, velocity, force, and surface area matter when taking a hit. You cannot expect a 5'5" 125lb woman to take a hit from a musclebound 6'4 300lb male regardless of the protective equipment involved--you're asking for broken bones and brain injuries at this point. You might be able to deny social norms, but physics are a harsh reality.
