I graduated with Chuck Sisson in 1966 and he lived near me when we were growing up! Chuck is 2nd on the left!

Their scores for the three rounds varied by only 3-4 points. They eere consistently exquisite. My wofe agdxIvsaw them st the CABC show in early '93, and they opened with this song. Wouldn't want to have had to follow them.

Jeff always had problems with VM. He could never find acceptance; mainly caused from his most arrogant demeanor. He thought he was more than he really was!

My dad was a member of the Phoenicians for about 20 years under Lou. I seem to recall there was another director towards the end but a lot of people left under him. I remember going to those rehearsals with him and wandering the halls while hearing them sing and then going to the shows at Grady Gammage and at 7 years old I could sit through and entire show mesmerized for almost the full 3 hours. My dad's almost 84 now and I'd love to find him a cd of the old Phoenicians.

The Rapscallions seem to get so much shit, but personally I think they were a product of their time. And they all look fairly young here too.

My eternal thanks to Mike for putting his pants in the washer/dryer and shrinking them so the quartet didn't have to wear them any more. We got some mileage out of the bolo ties though. Not sure, but the swipes in Swing Low might be better here than on the album.

I see a very young me in the corner of the front row just to the left of the MC at the beginning! That show is so big that we did two consecutive weekends with MA101. I had the honor and pleasure of being their host and they presented me with a musical diploma for having successfully completed the course of Music Appreciation 101. I still have it hanging on the wall in my den. Much love Terry and rest well dear friend.

Thank you for including your families in this video. Without their support, encouragement, and understanding, no quartet excels. Congratulations, Main Street. You guys do barbershop proud.
