Why do so many people downplay luffy when oda has literally written him to be the most ridiculous person to fight in every scenario on the battlefield .since gear 5s inception every panel we see luffy in he’s basically dominating not saying he can beat everyone now but oda is clearly hyping him up to have an even bigger presence then shanks in the world of one piece and people forget that no one in the world has seen let alone fought anyone with the abilities of luffy in over 800 years and most don’t even know what his power actually is the few people like shanks who know weren’t even around then either aside from the gorosei so even if they were to fight him they still wouldn’t know what they are getting into until they see it for themselves. Just saying in tired of people tryna downplay the main character at his peak which he himself even exclaims like you really think the main character can’t go toe to toe with the other high tiers in the verse after approaching the peak of his strength and all he has to do is fine tune his newfound power?

To clarify me saying luffy is gaining more presence then shanks and other high tiers I mean that when he flip the switch and goes gear 5 he immediately catches everyone’s attention ally’s and enemies not saying he can beat shanks or even vice versa I say that to say that kaido met shanks and other yonkos but he had never felt haki like what gear 5 was producing and like I was saying no one has encountered the power luffy has in over 800 years luffy has fought a lot of enemies with similar power set of shanks albeit obviously not on the same level but shanks and everyone else in the verse has never fought anyone like luffy.

Welt is a nice guy, ready to give it all to protect what he loves and cares most, but face reality, Welt can win most of the fight with people with skills and abilities, but to fight higher beings like Enaminators? That's a whole new concept to be argued with. Beside, Herta is currently featless and her true self hasn't been shown. Plus, to anyone thinks Welt>Acheron just because he "threatened" her, then I can go on and threaten a guy with a gun and think I'm stronger than him? Lol, reality is reality. Welt isn't strong as his prime anymore, and in his prime he still had his ass kicked multiple times, plus, he could use the full power of the core. Though he's truly a great human, he's not among the strongest, if not, the weakest of the hi3rd.

Yeah, pretty much. I want to see him actually do something for once. The closest he has gotten to showing his power off his threatening Acheron. Even in the newest Penacony update, the dude just holds back and watches. I'm kinda tired of this defenseless facade he puts on every new planet. Even against Sunday, he chose not to one-shot him. 😂

Not really. He never has. The only time he has ever "struggled" was against Phantilya. But even then, he didn't go full out. He has been hiding his power for a long time and never uses it unless absolutely necessary. The fact that he considered using it against Acheron should tell you how powerful she is. He didn't even use it against Phantilya or Sunday. We have yet to see him actually try instead of putting on this facade of being helpless and defenseless. Welt is not stupid. The fact he threatened Acheron of all people says a lot. Acheron was fully confident she would beat the Dreamaster, yet later on, he had Sunday get Welt out of the picture using the brand of the order like a coward. Obviously, they knew that Welt would be a problem for them. The only reason Welt seems weak is because of the plot. Once it's his time to shine, we will probably get a scene similar to Acheron's.

Dude, I love welt but this is cope. You have to realize that he’s severely nerfed from his honkai 3rd days and he would have a severely hard time against some of these fighters like blade or Jing yuan. Let’s not even talk about the fact that Acheron would and could annihilate him. He’s past his prime though I do hope he gets some of his old power back

@Selenagiraud2252 It was never nerfed. Star of Eden has nothing to do with Welt's Herrscher authority at all. What was nerfed was his Honkai energy because of Kiana. Star of Eden is still a divine key and should work just fine. If Welt wanted to, he could destroy Penacony.

Sure he could probably use the star of Eden to destroy pentagons but he would destroy himself in the process. The welt we see in HSR is a welt that has passed his core onto someone else. It’s like all might in my hero, sure he’s powerful but he has no stamina and has limits now
