Dude this is my local I’m 5 minutes away, a bit of a clickbaity title, it’s mostly keyboard warriors that have “banned” scooters and disgruntled skaters, they haven’t actually banned them at all tho to anyone watching! I’m currently working on getting some funding to have the park fixed up and some parts replaced working with the council, a few friends of mine and myself worked tirelessly to get a new volcano as the old double coping spine sucked and to be honest it took years but together we fought for it and we got it, it’s a message I hope your followers can appreciate instead of online comments group together and fundraise or get plans together to improve your community. it’s not a bad park Diss, it’s super mellow tho and to be fair I’ve ridden it for about 16+ years now and we’ve never really had any hate for scooter riders, I for one always advocate for every style of expression be it skate, scoot, bmx or blading. I’m not sure if you’re aware how hard it is to sway local councils to put in funding for anything especially for the youths and others that use facilities like it but it’s still super important to have stuff like it in little towns like ours 👌🏻
