SIMPLY BEAU - TI - FUL ! BRAVO, DOLORES ! I often listened to Dolores Keane singing this song on the radio, when I was a child; at that time I didn't know English language at all, the only word which I could clearly understand was "Caledonia" , word which I memorized well. In 2008, when I came to live in Ireland, I heard her singing this song on the TV ; the music of the song was very familiar to me, but I couldn't recolect where I knew the song from and when I heard Dolores singing first time the refrain of the song, when she hit the sentence "...Caledonia is calling me ..." I almost started to cry and laugh of joy at the same time, because this word "Caledonia" triggered back my memories of my childhood ... warming up my heart ... then I knew exactly where I knew the song from! I am sooo happy that she performed this song again live on the stage, excellent performance in front of the President of Ireland and the first Irish Lady! BRAVO to the musicians as well , they kept up with the valuable Dolores!

This competition is hugely to blame for the downfall of music among the youth these days. Loud, tasteless and rough music does not mean it is good and this, along with Clue Clux Eireann have blighted and massacred the regional styles that once flourished but it is now all brought into the one boring style that is usually pedestrian to the point of monotony.
