This looks incredible! As a plant-type fan, I'm so happy to see the plant-type fusion. Maybe you could add something like a restraining effect to the root attacks? Just throwing an idea :) I'm very excited to see more either way!

"Ah...I see you are a man of culture as well." Very nice looking game so far. I don't know how this popped up in my feed, but I am glad it did. Try to avoid getting bogged down in particle and AOE effects as they can distract from the action and the level design (it's not too bad so far)

I'd love to play around on any version of this! I can't get over the dive. Love it! Got me thinking, what about a normal like spin attack I can see it like a cone of air as your dashing or diving forward not spinning in a circle but more of a direction attack.

Have you tried adding a panning clouds texture in a light function to create fake clouds moving in the world? I think it could make the world look more lively
