Yo I'm doing this on Casual Campaign, which has MORE enemies by the way for some fuckin reason, and I can't do it. There has to be a better way because fuck this mission!

Just in case anyone is having issues with the APC blocking your bomber: what I found was that the final missile he launches at the Orange Star side, I instead launcher at the clump of units by the factory. This causes Hawke to more consistently clear out that area. Despite the 7 HP fighter leaving the extra bomber on the bridge, the next turn I used it to bomb his Med Tank and still got the Super Power.

I had a similar approach but it took an extra two days. You got the super power early in the turn but i had to destroy some extra units. Probably differed earlier on

How do you unlock this mission ive done everything besides thos one

In the original black hole rising I attacked the factory pipe with gold comet rocket artillery but in the remake of advance wars I used a green earth bomber to bomb the pipe because for some reason the black hole army is made up with nitwits.

I did all the steps, move by move, and I still have an APC blocking the way at day 11... seems like this is not working... or there's something wrong

If only green earth made the megatank sooner to counter enemy Neotanks.

This mission is the worst. As soon as I started to make a push at busting the pipe, Adder's factory kept pumping out Battleships, effectively ruining the mission. I had no chance.

this is 1 of the worst designed missions in the game by far is so godamn unfair without an exact step by step guiode this mission is literly impossible I gave up after 50 tries before lookign this up fuck this mission and fuck the devs who made it this way

Why is your map differnt from mine?

First attempt, move for move, all was perfect but when Colins bomber died his copter did too i think because i lost immediatly.. then attempt 2,3,4 and then 5 they always produce a AA in the centre. Mad.. taking a break now.

I managed to get 11 days!! By sending APC through the north woods way. Recon's behavior is erratic, it sometimes prefer mountain inf over apc :(

With this map, and also with Eagle's mission 11, I feel like you need to play it many, many times to know more or less what the ai is goint to do. In this one, you basically have a base race where counterintuitively, you wait on your island first and dont rush. That I never would have done if not for this video

All other videos are taking up to 45 minutes or more, in my first run it took me like two hours by trying to capture the factories and destroy the cannons, I didn't even realize that there was a shortcut to the pipe! I was like "is he trying to sneak with just one fighter and one bomber? With the missile launcher, the anti air and the fighters that spawn??? How?! I mean even if he were to launch all missiles to the block of enemies, he'd still need to find a path to the pipe" And then I saw the neotank and the path behind and I was "ooooooohhhhhhh" Crazy

I couldn't manage to make it work by myself, I always manage to destroy the first ones but the last one always caused me a lot of troubles due to his regroup after losing the first two cannons... I didn't think that sending the bomber in the front from the beginning was the way to go to get as close as the last cannon before his troupes are regrouping. Genius, it was so surprising to finish this map with the least casualties!

Sad this the only mission I had to look up a vid on but thank you your guide helped me I did mess up on some steps but it took 47 days I hate this mission thank God it's done

It's a stealth mission to get to the base. And if Hawke takes the middle bases It's basically an impossible mission.

Furoshious AI that counters you perfectly with 6 Air Bases, just the right amount of medium tanks and too many rockets on a narrow course!! Then so many helicopters and bombers you can't counter it with anti Air. And then if you make planes the ai just makes fighters. Black wave that heals its forces by 2 and brings your units down 2 so you get wiped out everytime you make any progress. If that wasn't bad enough Black Halwk has a road so he can move his rockets and artillery with ease while your side is all forest and slow moving units. 🤯

Hello and congratulations for all your work. I tried to reproduce your strategy but for some reason, an enemy unit is cloging the way and make hawke destroy all my units next turn with his power. That is strange because all units réact the same way until the 8th turn. Does this strat still work with you every time or is it because RNG is too important. Thank you for all your vidéos and i hope i will obtain a perfect score for this mission.

Any advice for Casual? Kanbei only starts with an APC and Max has nothing.

I ended up using Andy for this mission. The rockets and artillery are practically useless with Max and some of your tanks already start out in range for Kanbei's rockets, which hardly ever move.

I remember beating the Advance campaign on the original GBA version years ago but I've slept a few thousand times since then. 😂😂😂 I just beat this mission again but I got frustrated so I ended up waiting it out until most of Eagle's air units ran out of fuel and crashed. Then I advanced with my tanks and took out the rest of his ground units. I do remember from the old GBA games that you're basically expected to do more with less: you get roughly the same number of units you get in the normal campaign but you're drastically outmanned and outgunned, for the most part.

Has anyone ever tried these maps on Casual Mode?

Another tactic you could’ve used: you could’ve struck in a way that buttons Lash up on the western side of the map, which would’ve given you free reign to capture giving you as Colin the edge financially wise
