Really well shot. I'm shocks at the lack of views. There are very few videos on Electron + Vite so I'm glad you were able to get over the local auth issue by integrating Supabase directly vs differing to an api.

I like the way they force people to use their own machine and push changes to pipeline to test submissions. And the git diff to show submissions is a nice touch. I don't know if I'm going to do it though, because I'd be paying out of pocket and they force you to buy 3 months. But not terrible when you use a 50% promo code (50DRH24 works at the time of writing this), so it's like $60 for 3 months.

I saw the installed files of electron exe application that can be modified from the program files directory and I can see the js files in that directory that also can be easily modified by the user to skip activation or renewal process.. Can you please suggest the best solution to protect this

@@ChenthamizhKUMARANJeyakanthan The app will need an internet connection to verify the license with your server. It can't be an offline app with this model as there is no secure way to verify the license key.

What are the use cases of this for you personally? I'm just curious. I might be missing something, but I don't understand why capture the camera for a timelapse.
@samosborne7 ай бұрын
It looks cool in videos 😂 and is annoying to edit because you have to film for hours, the file size is massive and then your editing software crashes

@@samosborne got it, but how do you use those time lapses? I mean there is no voiceover as far as I understand, so what is the point of capturing the camera?

@@TheRoseWoodBody Personally I use them to put in to devlogs as b-roll, a guy on youtube called Devon Crawford makes good use of this style of clip There is no voiceover but you could add one on top, most people just put music though :)
