Nice video! The crossing foundations here were put in around September, and then the signals were installed in October, and finally the lights, bell, and gates were installed either late October or early November, completing the installation.

Awesome, I love how the EMDs in Australia sound the same as their North American cousins , I guess a 567, 645 and a 710 is the same no matter where you are !, excellent footage by the way, thanks for sharing man

Great video! I don't like the concept of quiet zones, but I really like how the prime mover sounds of the Pan Am train at 7:19 aren't obscured by the horn. I will be so sad when the day comes I can't hear EMD 2-stroke power in person anymore. I've known and loved it all of my 60-plus years.

What does notch 8 means?

Notch 8 is the highest notch throttle you can do on trains

If you have that pea bran size naiveness, notch 8 is literlly the highest notch you can do on trains
@demil36185 ай бұрын
Nothing about brain size here! There is no reason one would assume that notch 8 is the nighest. It could be 10 or 15 too. How would anyone who isn't in this field of work kniw that?? There are no stupid questions, only stupid answers! @@voidjavelin23

In that first one from Exeter, did the engineer give you two short hello honks as he passed you? Or was that for another crossing ahead? Also, grew up in NH. Great catches, great video.

Im almost jealous. I live in Minnesota and this year we haven't had hardly any snow. I lived in Phoenix AZ for 20 years and I really missed the snow. We've had some really great snow years here. but this year is just wierd. Heard we will get old man winter back with an attitude in January. I'm hoping🤞🤞anyways. Have a blessed Christmas 🎄 everyone

Oh man, that's so sweet... Diesel electric power... I live in the South Island of New Zealand (next stop Antarctica) our trains are nowhere as heavy as yours... They are all old now, built in Canada 50 odd years ago.... DX class... We got some new ones from China not long ago, but there was issues with asbestos... We used to make our own locomotives here, mainly steam... I do love to watch Big Boy clips, man they are beasts...!! Can't beat Diesel Power tho a ... ??!!! ❤
