I really enjoyed that ride! Thank you for sharing! Probably the closest I'll ever get to riding on a great desert road in the US. Miles and miles of relaxed ridin'. If I ever get my A into G I might reciprocate and do a 25 or 30 min clip of a ride on my Audace here in New Zealand. I also liked that you panned around for a scenic view every so often! Thanks again! 🙂

Nice smooth road and lovely sound. I have the 1200 Griso here in New Zealand, unfortunately our roads are bumpy garbage and our speed limits are stupid. 100mph would be instant loss of license, huge fine and possibly jail time :(

What is the range on the bike ? In the desert it can be a long distance between gas stations .

Yeah there's not a lot of gas stations around. Have to plan ahead sometimes. Range is about 180 to 200 miles on 5 gallon tank.

Did you also do their fuel upgrade? What's the horse power difference like real world?

Yeah it's running the GTM fueling mods with modded airbox and BMC filter. With those mods I think it's rated for around 100 to 105 rwhp. It has a lot more top end, with more responsive low end as well, which is a common complaint on these 1400's. I only did 100 miles on the bike in standard trim before putting the exhaust and fueling mods on it. Some say these bikes run too lean in standard form and would be much too lean with an aftermarket pipe on it.

As an Audace owner I approve this message! Ps I'm Running Mistral Exhaust and Mistral vtwin boost with a DNA performance air filter. Avon cobra chrome tyres (if You haven't tried them you have to they are cheeper then the competition and they are excellent the turning is so much better then the OEM Dunlops! Plus they are dual compound socthey last well as well! Ps get that bike out of Turismo stick in Veloce and just spank on it!!

Great to hear from another Audace owner. Yeah I love veloce mode but it has an issue with on/off snatchy throttle in veloce mode right now. Im getting that fixed in the next couple weeks. I didn't know Mistral has a fueling option with their exhausts but definitely an important mod since they run lean from the factory. I'll do another vid once I get the next round of mods done. 👍

This bike really needs some straight pipes. It sounds week in the knees with mufflers, almost embarrassing. High revving for the speed shown. Are you in top gear?

Yeah the stock pipes are way too quiet. On that road I'm alternating between 5th and 6th. I think the guzzi revs about 500rpm faster than a Harley at 70mph.
