she is doing that because she has a caged life and sees it as the only thing she owns. so she is not happy about anything coming into her space, just as adults get to make that decision

My bunny got in a fight with another male. Both eyes pused and nose lesioned. Using qtip, saline wash and chlorinchol human eye ointment and on the nose 8trek (tar like ointment). Seems like an everyday thing to remove pus though. Will try black tea. Wonder if rooibos tea works. Poor thing is getting on with life but blind. Don't know when to consider euth.

It’s sad that people view rabbits so differently to dogs or cats (I know they are predators and rabbits are pray animals) but rabbits can be litter trained and provide great companionship, given the right care. It just isn’t fair to keep them confined, they should be able to act on their natural instincts and live their life. All you really have to do is set up an x-pen or get some c&c grids with reasonable space with comfortable flooring. Wire flooring may not be a good choice for the bunnies health if they’re genetically propositioned to developing sore hocks. It may be easy to keep clean but image if you had to walk on those wired flooring barefoot for a long period of time, rabbits do not have padding on their paws. Bonding with your rabbit may also be easier as you can just sit in the x-pen with her. She’ll have an opportunity to approach you and explore you, it will help her feel more comfortable with you. It’s probably not a nice to have hands coming towards you randomly throughout the day even if they are bringing you food. This whole video just makes me feel sad.

@@hammersholt, as former police, I have also seen worse, but comparing your firefighting experience to this person's treatment of his rabbits, which is in no way wrong, is like comparing to apples and oranges. Unless you have seen rabbits and other rodents malnourished, neglected, beaten, kicked, and tortured as prey by their owners like I had the unfortunate of seeing, then there is no way you can call this "mistreatment".

It is cheaper to grow, and very healthy for the rabbits in the spring, summer and fall. I haven't tried to grow indoors during the winter.

Yup. Got a barrel and an olf 2 wheeled barrow frame. Dollies too. The cost of wheelbarrows are insane now, even used and abosed ones. The sides are sturdy enough but found when full like moving gravel the sides bow a bit..I just used a rachet strap to support the sides. Easily moved 2 cubic yards and saved $$$
