Hey chief! My thoughts as I'm watching this...! Comfort access... it can be a nuisance, I was fitting wheel spacers today walking back and forth to the car and it kept locking/unlocking/locking then getting itself twisted, which was a pain. But I regularly forget to lock my cars as I'm walking into the house so I personally leave it on and deal with those nuisances! Colours, I've got the Grigio myself... it's very likely you'll never ever see that colour in person as they're so rare, unless one shows up to a meet up perhaps. But that's one of the reasons why I chose it. I wasn't able to see it before buying so took a punt, but I don't regret it for a second, I have an obsession with the Grigio's (Telesto and Medio) and that's the point of the individual program! Yea the key is cheap and naff, I loaned the new M5 for a bit before picking up the M2 and the key for the M5 feels like you're holding an alien artifact, it's proper posh! For security, personally I can't be arsed with a crook lock, the best thing I can recommend as an absolute must is a faraday box to leave your keys in so they can't be cloned from outside. You can get them for like £20 or something from Amazon. But that's really common now, little scroats walking around with devices that pick up the keys signal. Respect for the R5 GT Turbo! I had one of them as well back in the late 90s, H Reg, white, loved it! There is a huge modding scene for these cars which I'm hesitant of getting too much involved in, I don't like changing something so new and expensive, but I'm gonna do some. Already added wheel spacers which widens the stance of the car a bit, the wheels sit too far inset into the arches for me. I'm probably going to get the CSL headlight mod which changes the front sidelights to a yellow colour, it sounds awful but if you look it up it looks pretty good. I want to add a slightly larger carbon fibre boot spoiler, and possibly a couple of the carbon bodykit parts. I'm also tempted to have a gearbox remap done which quickens the gear changes as they're a tiny bit laggy, and can be improved, but that's probably where I'll stop! I'm tempted to lower the car by 20-30mm to reduce that criminal sized wheel arch gap but that might be a step too far for me, insurance and warranty issues perhaps, but that's where I'm at!

It's beautiful Nicholas, congrats! I must admit, and I did in my latest video 😂white isn't my personal favourite option for the M2 but I totally get it, it's stunning! One think I've noticed that I'm quite curious about, my Grigio came with black capped wing mirrors but almost all other M2s I've seen have body coloured caps, not sure what the pattern is there yet. Did the dealership tell you how to properly run the car in e.g. don't go over 5k RPM in the first 600 miles then not over 6k RPM for the next 600 miles? It's so hard to resist that when you're driving something like this, especially when it's all new and you just want to enjoy what you've bought!
@nicholasdrivingacademy94352 күн бұрын
Actully I think black mirror caps look good maybe boot spoiler should also be black too. Matter of interest did you get good price if you don’t me masking?

just ceramic coat the car. It is pretty simple to do and for the price of paying someone else you can easily do it yourself. I had the f87 m2 in white. that's been changed a couple of times now and i'm onto another mpower now they just great value for money

I have the same exact M2 ( white with a sunroof), but it’s a 6 speed. After 20k miles, I can easily say that this car worth every penny. Fantastic car, amazing handling, tons of usable power, beautiful inside and out, practical, and very comfortable. The only 2 things that bug me are the amount of brake dust it produces, and tires do not last more than 20k miles. Otherwise, excellent choice!

10k! Damn, I guess I don’t drive it that hard. I do daily my car to work and everywhere else, and drive hard on the weekends. They are on Michelin PS4S. Can’t imagine spending over $2k every 10k miles! That gets expensive fast!

@@arymonem P zero corsa's were fitted to mine and they are rubbish, I prefer PS4S having had them on previous cars so seeing you are getting good mileage from them gives me comfort because yes spending approx £1k+ on tyres every 10k is expensive

For economy, drive in 'D'. The foot brake is controllably regenerative to the hard point, and coasting is a more efficient use of residual kinetic energy than regen. 'B' is really just a convenience for those who prefer near one-pedal driving.

We're told to put into N when stopped. P is only for when parked. Keep your heel on the floor and swivel from accelerator to the brake, so awkward seeing driving videos of foot up in the air then descending on the other pedal, it is also very annoying seeing the clutch foot lifting the heel off the floor even instructors doing so!

@@nicholasdrivingacademy9435 on the big square one, is that the same as a large round about like if you were on the 4th exit you’d indicate right at the give way line, and keep indicating right until you indicate left to come off?

@@hoopshoopsscoops if your talking about big green it's not really a roundabout large I'd say indicate right give way then you could cancel it stay in right as rd markings could signal right not necessary most importantly stay in correct lane but don't over indicate as it can be misleading.
