Garcia's had a place in the historic Gables building across the street from the Indiana University law school in the late 1970s. I absolutely despised pizza until I ate there. Now, at age 66, I've had more slices of pizza than I can imagine, particularly in Chicago.

Isn't this the guy who's mismanaged funds to such an extreme that even with record enrollment, 4% tuition, hikes and zero raises, he still claims that they can't do their finances? All while enjoying 450,000 a year? Give me a break,

Time for a vote and no confidence with this guy. They've mismanaged funds to such an extreme that now they can't even provide cost of living adjustments to the workers who make the University run. Both he and the provost need to go.

1991-93 behind watterson , tue and thur 72 oz pitcher special for $2.75 and i had to ask for 2 cups so they thought i was sharing lol. I walked home- no driving. That and playing cricket in darts was the only fun i could afford at the time.

I remember the one on Dale Street had bands in the 90s. Another great pizza place in Normal was Michaeleos, I worked there many great memories.

As much as I loved Garcia's, Michaeleo's was my favorite pizza place at ISU. Tobins is awesome but nothing beats Michaeleo's.
