You make such beautiful art! I can't understand why they wouldn't take you .... If i'm not mistaken this year they are extending the number of people who can apply by one year! Can you still try? If it's okay to ask: What questions did they ask you? In what way did you bomb the interview?

If it’s any consolation I also made it past the portfolio review and ALSO bombed the interview✌🏽😔 it felt like I was playing 3d chess against two grandmasters and kept saying the wrong things lol,, oh well better things await us my friend🫂

Rejection is redirection. Don't be discouraged! Your art has this nice, stunning feel to it with it's messy and subtle performance, balancing so well with the colors (omg the colors!!) !! Also, your character designing is sick -- caught my eye the moment I saw it. Keep it up!!!!

This is so beautiful!! I was rejected as well and I think I have similar points to work on as you…like character expression and movement, I think the „animators survival kit“ from Richard Williams is helpful when it comes to that. But your colors and composition are beautiful!! I hope this is helpful

Videos like this prove that the academic opinion and public opinion on art are entirely separate things. Sorry you got rejected, as the title says, but take comfort in the fact that thousands of total strangers have seen it and loved it. That’s the true evangelical beauty of art.

Rejected? And you want to study there because of the industry connections? That's the only reason I can think about someone wanting to go to any Art Uni these days (I got an Art bachelor's degree but started working in the (US) comics industry way before my graduation). You're skilled enough to offer your services for motion graphics and game animations, like visual novels with larger budgets and more.
