liked the video. only question the hook and bar parts are for the fuel tank. The fuel tank is scalloped around the rear drive shaft and attached to the body. When you lift the body the drive shaft is no longer centered in the scallop and may rub on the tank shield especially if a balance weight on the shaft is on the forward half. The hook and bars extend the tank straps and the solid 2x2 poly blocks go on top of the tank. With every lift i have done so far that is the hardest part if it doesn't center in the scallop. I have had to modify a couple times and for me its under an hour excepting the fuel tank to install the lift . Also transmission linkage may need adjustment some kits come with extensions but i have seen many not use unless needed

Thanks for the tip! I still need to work on my tank.

Remember the humvee was designed and built by the same company that designed the postal truck, ( with military specs). I have a funny feeling that this vehicle did not come out anything like the original design. My guess is the motor was put in before the body went on. I hope your not going to try and put that motor back in again.

You're learning now what the Army guys in the field learned over 20 years ago. The 6.5 turbo requires more room than a 6.2 or a detuned 6.5. The late model HMMWV's are different then the M998 variants.
