Sounded like he had to turn the blades off before the more died. The motor is to small for the size if deck. I just seen one with a 60" deck with a 20 no Briggs motor. Last mower I had with a deck that size and a motor that small would not cut worth crap.

@@hilham89 What do you mean it's too small? It's a 25.5 HP motor ... the same exact one the John Deere's uses on their 60". He was probably not up in RPM as that was mainly idle speed. I have this exact one, runs just fine.

So if you read deeper into my comment on that vs playing the typical simple victim, CHANGE YOUR BLADES and service your shit like you re supposed too. It's not the horsepower as you very much want it to be. So what on earth are you talking about with being "too small"? I have this and a Scag 70 running a 25 with a half-dead cyl I got on a big discount, cut's just fine. It's not the deck size that does anything hell the blades are like 12-14" long.
