Sephora has a lot of control over what is released by these brands. Even though each brand doesn't release multiple sets for different skintone ranges (or fragrance profiles) it looks like Sephora engineered it so that different brands release things for different ranges, if that makes sense? Like the Danessa/Refy lip sets appear to be for deeper skintones, the Fenty/Haus appear to cover medium and Milk stick/ABH lip for light. Ofc that means not everyone has access to every formula (do better) but I think that's how they maximize profit. Just my theory.

I got the SF minis set this year and last. I always prefer minis and arithmetically it's a better value than a single. Plus it's all neutrals! Also got the Kosas blush set which is a great deal to me. And a hair set which I always use up for travel.

I don't understand the critique about the Milk lip oil duo. You cannot tell me most lip oils don't wear clear,no matter what tint is going on. And personally unless I'm standing in front of a mirror all day, my experience of thelipoil will be the scent/flavour. Just saying. Anyway I'm most tempted by the Gloss set cuz I have none of those, same for the Saie Blush set, and I know you didn't show it,but Kayali came back out with the Ouds in a mini set,and I have none of those either. But I'm skipping all because I'm trying to use up what I've got,which is alot.

Holiday Launches are my fav! I started to pick up some of the holiday launches before they are gone before the sale. I picked up both sets of glosses from Patrick Ta, the Fenty skin butta drop trio and plush pudding in salted caramel, Haus labs lip glaze set, Fenty gloss bomb swirl, and the Refy plum lip set. I’ve been debating getting that gloss bomb vault.

I bought it yesterday in 17. So far it looks good! Matches my skin very well. I tried a sample in the summer, It did get oily though…it’s more of a fall/winter makeup. It’s getting cooler in NYC so it works.
