since you've already done a Yoasobi song, it would be cool if next you did アイドル ("Idol") from them for the new anime 推しの子 (Oshi no Ko/My Idol's Child), it's a really good song with a blend of different genres that could work well with a Beat Saber map. Also, this is looking great :D 👍 (edit was a spelling mistake)

Fantastic as always! Just wanted to ask though, with the quest 2. Are you using it wirelessly or wired and have you noticed a difference with either of them? Also how in the world do you do those parts where you need to swing your wrists around at mach 10 in order to hit the notes? lmao. And if you're confused kzbin.info/www/bejne/fHXOeniPgc98nrs skip to 0:35 and that is probably the best example. I swear to god it feels like the sabers are phasing through the blocks when I try that. Another question is, how do you deal with the battery life of the quest 2? It's hard to squeeze out a few hours of gameplay out of a headset that seems to down 20% every 5 seconds lmao. Sorry about all these questions but here's another one.... what recording software/editing software do you use lmfao. Again, sorry to pester you but my god I need to just start asking these questions if I'm curious.
@chikinbiskit2 жыл бұрын
thanks! i'll try to answer all your questions in parts. also don't feel sorry for asking questions, i'm always here for that for your first question about oculus link, it would be better to use the headset with a cable because using airlink had a very noticable (and somewhat disorientating) latency. just be sure to use the launch option -vrmode oculus if you're on steam for your second question, it just comes down to training your wrists to maintain those high tempos/BPM. personally i don't play as much anymore, so i'm a bit slower than i was when i posted that video. a good way to practice those kinds of high BPM jumps is just by using practice mode and starting off at 50% speed, which would be equivalent to 175 BPM on that map you linked, and slowing turning up the speed until you are no longer able to fullswing. try to keep a firm grip on your controllers as you could very easily lose control of them, and then they start wobbling. for the record, that map is actually 350 BPM, not 700 as the song title suggests i haven't had many battery problems with my quest so far as i use a cable for oculus link, which also keeps my headset charged. ideally you would want a USB 3 cable or better for maximum performance. lastly i use geforce experience to record my plays and edit them using this program called lossless cut, you can find that here: github.com/mifi/lossless-cut feel free to ask any more questions!
@Evade99992 жыл бұрын
@@chikinbiskit Thank you! You know you really are a wonderful creator, I understand that not many people seem to comment on your videos but in either case, having a creator that genuinely answers questions openly and honestly in the way that you have can be rare to come by. Also I want to mention that I did buy the official overpriced link cable just in case they had modified it to allow more "stuff" to go through it so to speak, and I think it actually charges it slower than it loses battery, but if you personally haven't experienced that then it's probably either the port I have available or my power supply, but I guess it's no worry at the moment considering my endurance is far below yours at the moment, takes me a solid 20-30 minutes and I'm heaving for oxygen lmfao. I guess my biggest gripe is that this game.... royally... pisses me off sometimes, and it can happen very quickly, I guess it varies from person to person but perhaps you have some tips?
@chikinbiskit2 жыл бұрын
@@Evade9999 glad to hear that lol i personally don't have any experience with the official link cable, but there are plenty of cheaper third party cables that work just as well. however i haven't heard any bad things about the cable, so it might just be a port problem. at the very least, make sure you're plugging your cable into a USB 3 port the only thing i can really say for maintaining your composure is just to play the game for fun and try not to push yourself too hard, physically and mentally

@chikinbiskit2 жыл бұрын
if you're talking about the base game songs, then no however, this is a custom map, and there are ways to map with arcs and chains, but its a bit of a hassle since the official editor isn't updated yet and the mainstream mapping software (chromapper) isn't updated to support the new note types yet

@@chikinbiskit Ah, yeah it looks like you just have a lot more patience and determination than I do lmao. I've only got about 90 hours though so I've certainly got room to improve. I will admit though, I never actually tried to play any of those ridiculous maps because I always figured it'd be impossible for me, but I supposed slowing down those songs would help.
@chikinbiskit2 жыл бұрын
@@Evade9999 as a new player like yourself, it may be helpful to implement some good habits early on so that you can improve more efficiently (fullswinging, acc). like you said, slowing down songs is a great way of practicing a map and it's patterns. today, you might see certain maps as impossible to you, but eventually, given time and dedication, you will look back on those maps as an important part of your progression. before you know it you'll be miles from where you started.
@Evade99992 жыл бұрын
@@chikinbiskit Haha yeah, and thanks a lot for the motivating words. I'll definitely try and utilize more challenging maps. Personally I play mostly metal songs mapped by Bytrius. There are some really fast streams in some of his maps at certain sections, or at the end of some that make it impossible to beat as of now because it literally feels like my sabers are just going through the blocks, that and, super fast up and down blocks feel the exact same way in some maps. You know, I'll unprivate the songs I've actually recorded on my channel such that perhaps you can give me more advice on how I'm playing, though I'm not sure if it'll help a whole lot since it's not like you're seeing me play irl.
@Evade99992 жыл бұрын
@@chikinbiskit Do you happen to have any maps that are good for practicing basically all types of streams?
