Bit of a misnomer to call that an 'Ultralight". By FAA rules (that are similar elsewhere) an ultralight is a single passenger plane with weight, speed, and fuel capacity limits which I'm pretty sure this plane doesn't meet.

That's the only reason I clicked on this vid 😅 This plane is 2.5x the weight limit, can go 2.5x the speed limit but somehow manages to fit into the 5 gallon fuel capacity limit with a 5 gallon tank

well your are misinformed. the plane is 275Kg. ultralights in Europe are up to 600kg of MTOW

Pay attention. KZbin is not a USA-only website. The plane in the video has a German registration. If you put one and one together, you'll realize that the FARs don't apply here, you useless tool.

@@potatojake197 Yes, you are. KZbin is not restricted to the USA only. Other countries and their citizens can post videos. This video is of a German-registered aircraft that complies with German and EU certifications for ultralights. Apply some critical thinking and you'll expand yur knowledge.

Harika kaptanım. Üflesen uçacak gibi uçmaya hazır bir tasarımı var bu uçağın. Havacılıkta neyi merak ettiysem çok önceden gerçekleştirmiş bir büyüğüm olarak videonuz ile merakımı biraz olsun giderdim. İnşallah bir gün uçmak da nasip olur.

@@HeinrichGerber Yes, Ilyushin Il-76 has a range only 2700 nautical miles. So it needs to be refuelled before taking off from Novo base.

@@SamCAviation Unfortunately I sold this aircraft to Germany. But you can check Kaunas; there are several An-2 available there as far as I know.

Ilyushin ile uçunca 6:22'deki uçağı Lisunov Li-2 sandım. Sonra motorların turboprop olduğunu görünce dc-3 Basler olduğunu anladım. Çok güzel uçaklar bunlar, herbirinin ayrı şekli, karakteri var. Eskiler hep böyleydi. Şimdi uçaklar şekil açısından küçük farklarla ayrılabiliyor. Bu güzellikleri paylaştığınız için teşekkürler hocam

@@TufanSevincel I thought so, I'm the new owner of BIRT, I bought the plane from Bill in October. Nearly have done my first 50 hours in BIRT, abolsutely love the plane. Hoping to do some interesting flights in the future, not as daring as Bill was haha. I've got a few videos of flying BIRT on my channel. Awesome to find your channel with these videos on it.
